Booking.com Guest Review GuidelinesTo keep the rating score and review content relevant for your upcoming trip, we archive reviews older than 24 months.
Only a customer who has booked through Booking.com and stayed at the property in question can write a review. This allows us to verify that our reviews come from real guests like you. Who better to tell others about the free breakfast, friendly staff, or their comfortable room than someone who’s stayed at the property?
We want you to share your story, with both the good and the not-so-good. All we ask is that you follow a few simple guidelines.
We believe review contributions and property responses will highlight a wide range of opinions and experiences, which is critical in helping guests make informed decisions about where to stay.
Contributions to Booking.com are a reflection of the dedication of our guests and properties, so we treat them with the utmost respect.
Whether negative or positive, we'll post every comment in full and as quickly as possible, provided the guidelines are met. We'll also provide transparency over the status of submitted content.
We'll use the same guidelines and standards for all user-generated content, and for the property responses to that content.
We'll allow the contributions to speak for themselves, and we won’t be the judge of reality. Booking.com’s role is to be a feedback distributor for both guests and properties.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

눉Ask owner for exact address... we went somewhere else but it was not a big problem :)
눇Good place to stay for few nights. Owner is a nice person and speaks good English. Contact with him was very good. Apartment is big with comfortable beds. It looks quite old inside but good enough as a base to sleep and go out to the town. Would recommend if you're coming in a small group. Thanks a lot !

눇Five minutes walk from Airport Bus stop and Metro. Spacious room , Kitchenette and bathroom in an old apartment building, it's not renovated but it's clean and has all one could want for a few days. AirCon quiet and effective. Valantin will meet you to hand over key and give advice , make clear arrangement for time of meeting and apartment no. incase you have roaming problem.

눉no communication: -requested a transfer to the airport but never received an answer took a taxi instead -requested early check in via booking.com and even called three days in advance but weren`t expected when we arrived and then had to walk through the rain to another location approximately 1h later we were in our room There was mould in the shower

눉the experience started when we opened the refrigerator and found the remains of the last occupants supper, In any other society this apartment would have been listed for demolition or major renovation 20 years ago. description of the property is sub standard however Booking,com's survey will not accept this description

눉Massive mutant roaches. Accomodation is in an old building in a neighborhood of old buildings. There are massive roaches everywhere, even running around the streets at night.
눇The people who run this operation are very friendly, very professional, and extremely helpful. I would have stayed longer were it not for the roaches.

눇Everything was great: best location you might want, but quiet in the same time, nice apartment, tastefully decorated and very clean, good wifi, all facilities needed and a wonderful host, Valentin. The old building gives a very nice air of the beauty of the past, whilst having all the modern equipments one might need. The big number of lamps (7 or 8, I think) made possible creating a very cosy athmosphere. I would go back anytime - thank you for making my time in Bucharest so confortable and pleasant!
