Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceBathroom did not have window or good ventilating system and the room had windows to the interior of the building so the air was poorly circulated.
Location was very good, luggage service available and the facility was clean and quiet.

Bulgaria- The staff at the restaurant was fair at best - The mix up at checkin really took a long time and was a bit stressful - The bed didn't have a full mattress but two mattresses pushed together so it wasn't the most comfortable
The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was very good (the restaurant itself was good). The staff was friendly. There was a problem with the reservation and the first night we had to spend in another hotel but the manager handles the situation very good by getting us a taxi to/from, giving us big discount for dinner at the restaurant and upgrading our room. The location was great, right at the end of Old town. As other reviews said, you can hear the music downstairs on the weekend but that wasn't a problem for us.

GreeceThe receptionists were friendly enough and gave us a lot of information about the city. But the other staff were unfriendly. Noone is smiling. The breakfast was very poor and if something finished they didn't replaced. So for a long time there was ever bread to eat. I was expecting something more.
The location is perfect, exactly in the city centre so you can walk around and there is no dangerous in the night. The rooms were comfortable and very clean

United KingdomThere is a small step to get into the property from the street. This may seem minor but for a wheelchair user it means help is reqd to actually enter the hotel and it could probably be easily resolved. It’s also not possible for a wheelchair user to close the curtains in the room / open the window because a desk has been placed in front of the window. This again could easily be resolved.
Great location, good sized room, good sized elevator for wheelchair + luggage, good sized accessible bathroom in room 301. All of the staff we met were fantastic and very helpful, with the staff in the breakfast room always offering help to ensure a wheelchair user could have access all of the food / drink on offer. The breakfast selection was really good.

LatviaWe asked the staff several times to fix the air conditioner, but it was not done. They kept telling us to restart ourselves. But no one came to fix it. It was constantly +25 degrees in the room. Only in the evening, when it got colder, we ventilate the room and it was +20 degrees! The shower hand holder was broken and did not stay in place.
Excellent hotel location - surrounded by the old town on one side and all necessary public transports on the other. Car parking is not provided. Breakfast is tasty, but uniform (the same food for the entire stay). The room was clean.

TurkeyI have make the reservation for my mother&brother. They stayed for 3 days at the hotel. The staff was so polite&helpful. You can communicate in English easily. The room was clean (all the towels&bedsheets are changed per day) and our room was looking towards to the city. Also, you can take the bus from the airport and directly reach the hotel. The breakfast was good. You have many options, even if you are vegetarian. The location of the hotel is great. You can reach the oldtown in 2 min by walk. We enjoyed our visit very much and we will make another reservation to come on July. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Alexandru!

United KingdomThere was nothing I didn't like and I would definitely stay here again. The only small things I would change would be to put drinking glasses in the room and to have the option of swapping the coffee machine for a small kettle but these small things did not impact my stay.
We visited Bucharest to visit Therme Spa but wanted to stay in the city centre. This hotel is well located, very close to metro, bus and trams. Lots of places of interest within walking distance, including restaurants. The 21 tram takes you to Obor Market and the 100 bus takes you to the airport. En route you will see Herastrau Park, Palace of Parliament and Arch of Triumph. From the airport you can take the 442 to Therme Spa.

United KingdomSlightly strange situation with the hotel staff thinking I had spilled some kind of liquid in my room. They spoke to me about it and the manager was talking about charges for damage. Nothing had been spilled and there was no damage of any kind in my room. I asked him to take a look, and he conceded that this was the case. It was taken no further, but I feel the staff should have asked to check inside my room first before talking about charges for damage.
The room was quiet and comfortable - it's worth getting a room that faces the atrium as it's quieter than those that face out to the road or the bars and restaurants. The WiFi was good and the TV was very decent. Everything was clean and tidy.
