It was too hot in the room, hotel guests didnt care about the COVID rules really and masks rule was not enforced.

Very stuffy in the room. The turn on lights indicators are on brightly, not comfortable to sleep. The hotel has a strip club, it works in the evening. Located next to the reception, you have to go through it every time.

Stayed at the hotel during the New Year holidays. Good location of the hotel next to the New Year's fair and the sports stadium. Other attractions and the city center are on the other side of the river. Convenient to go to the train station.

Fantastic location in the city center, close to the historical Nizhny Novgorod fair, 10 minutes walking from Nizhny Novgorod railway station. Beautiful views from the resonant on the "high part" of the city.

We had some strange sounds in the room during the night. It was either the noise of wind or some other similar background noise. Not sure if it came from some equipment in the room or from outside but both myself and my friend have noticed it. It disturbs the sleep pattern.

Very nice hotel, quite close to the Railway station. The building is from Soviet Era, inner facilities were done around 2000s but things get upgraded, all equipment in the bathroom is new, for instance. Breakfast was good, although it is better to go earlier - in the weekend it gets very crowded around 9am.

Poor wi-fi, just useless. The water cooling machine wasn't working all time. Small hall near the desk. But nothing really critical.

Cleanliness, friendly staff, room equipment. Generally speaking, it's a clean, fresh, and solid hotel. I have no doubts to recommend it for my friends and everyone to stay there. Great location makes city observation easy

1. The cleaning service was consistently poor and inattentive. They did not even vacuum the room or wash the glasses most of the time; just emptied the trash bin. 2. The hotel is located on the "wrong" side of the Oka river. On the map it's close to the old Nizhny Novgorod Fair building and to the beautiful confluence place where the tributary, Oka, meets Volga. In reality it's an ugly area with a scary Lenin monument, Soviet-era concrete apartment blocks and very few trees. Nowhere to walk or run around the area. You need to take a taxi to go anywhere, including the historic city centre, the pedestrian embankment, boat piers, etc. It's a short ride across the bridge, but still you cannot comfortably walk anywhere. 3. The coffee in the bars is between awful and mediocre, and drink choice is also very limited. Overall, it's OK to stay there for a couple of days if you have an event at the hotel. For anything else I would recommend staying closer to the historic city centre, on the other bank.

A very good food buffet, consistently stable WiFi. There is a supermarket in just around the corner if you need water.

Nearly everything, this was the worst booking in many years. They sell renovated rooms and we got old crapy rooms. The staff are aware of this situation because it happens all the time so this is a managment issue not for the reception staff, most of them were good willing but lack experience and training. Although they admitted the situation was wrong it took about 2 hours to find a solution...moving to a renovated room at extra payment. I will write a detailed email to booking.com about this situation.

This hotel is far away from four stars advertised on site: standard+ room in dimensions of matchbox; looks like hotel doesn't have sound insulation at all - sounds are coming from everywhere; hotel location itself is very noisy too - traffic loaded river bridge in a few hundred meters; no ventilation in bathroom; bathroom sewage is clogged...

Friendly personnel; surprisingly very clean room and corridors; hotel owned transfer cars - no need in city taxi for checkin/checkout routes; in general good breakfast, well served and controlled by restaurant personnel. AVIS counter directly in the hotel lobby.

The bad had the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever seen. I still can't believe that a hotel has such beds. Lucky I managed to get it replaced with a better one after the first night
