If you don’t want to eat at the hotel it is a bit of a drive to go elsewhere. But the food was great and portions were huge!

We stumbled on this place while looking for a layover between Copenhagen and Oslo. My kids and husband play disc golf, so the course here was a draw, and they had marked running trails for me. The hotel itself was a really wonderful surprise: the rooms were huge for families (separate bunk room for the kids), with the summer light our kids were allowed to play soccer golf well past 10pm, and the food was very good. I wish we had stayed more than one night and I will recommend it to anyone doing a driving holiday through Sweden (especially golfers!) Amazing place, the pictures before we arrived did not do justice to what we got when we arrived. Food, atmosphere, large rooms and staff. Only the best recommendations and we will definitely plan when we can come back again.

Very nicely decorated rooms, clean. Good breakfast. Very nice surroundings. If you take your shower early, make sure you run your water for long enough before jumping in. That’s a downside for environment-conscious people.

Facilities. We were just looking for a place to stay one night. However, when we went there, we realized that we had booked an amazing resort with excellent facilities. Pool, sauna, golf course, running trails, good food and nature........ Its worth a visit again.

Not really a negative but a shock at arrival. We knew that a golfcourse was close to the hotel. However, the hotel appears to be the largest golf resort in Sweden. Hundreds of golfers walked around the premises all day. So, if you hate golfers, you better should avoid visiting the place. We are no golfers, but after an hour we loved the place.

The hotel is magnificently integrated in the local nature. We booked a slightly larger room and we received a marvellous room with seprate sitting room, mater bedroom and second bedroom with two bunk beds. We used that room as walk in wardrobe. The breakfast was very good and there was ample space to enjoy it indoor or outdoor.

As an invalid, it was very hard getting to the rooms since we had the room one of the nearest to the reception, but it was 5 or 6 long hallways to get there and no shortcuts possible. There is no airconditioning in the room that you can adjust. There is nothing to see or do in the neighboorhood except golf. No mini bar, no tea or Coffee. No toiletries. Pool was too cold for me but the kids loved it.

Very good food, for breakfast and for diner. Very good beds. Pool. Very nice staff at reception and restaurant. They brought is fans because the room was too hot. We could take dessert to the room..very nice.

Öijared offers a nice break from hectic everyday life. With the inviting, lobby, restaurant with a panorama view of the golf court, royal breakfast, swimming pool and sauna you'll find yourself occupied for days on end. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have beds for 6 people. I find the rooms somewhat crowded for 6 people, would say 4 people is the max. Overall I would definitely recommend Öijared Resort!

Food quality of dinner served at the restaurang varied from one day to the other.

Great architecture and nice, warm interior design. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful straff. We felt welcome.

The beds are a bit hard to lay on. Our backs hurt everytime we woke up. Hope that the management would reconsider this. Also, we have to pay for the access to the swimming pool and hot jacuzzi. We thought that it was already included at staying in a hotel - in general. Hence, no. Also, people without cars who wants to visit this place cannot just visit it. It is secluded and one needs a transpo to enter. So you need to consider that before booking this place.

The fact that the room we had is a family room, it is well cheaper than the most hotels we had in Nordic. The space is awesome. There is the privacy we wanted, however we were given the room facing the forest, and there is a foot path to golfers or treakers, so there was this a little bit awkardness. Food at the restau is awesome. We really felt the warmth from the personels who works there. Very accomodating people compared to others we had been to. Guess Swedes here are friendlier. :) The place have different activities to offer. We only got to use the swimming pool and the hot sauna. We have to pay those in order to use it though. Great view as well. Instagram worth. This is a golf course/resort but please dont stop yourself from booking this place if you want a bonding time with your family or have a relaxing getway.

The room was not properly clean, the floors had not been properly clean and the place was dusty. The outdoor jacuzzi and swimming pool also were dirty. The staff should clean thoroughly.

The hotel is nice for families with children. Good breakfast with plenty of selection.

Weird rooms and felt quite run down and old. Carpets felt dirty, especially the carpet in the pool changing rooms. Looked a lot nicer on the pictures and would not recommend anyone to stay here. Maybe if you go for the golf it’s worth a visit but if you’re not playing there’s a lot nicer places to chose instead
