Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were a bit disappointed that Sky Bar was closed, and we hadn't received any information or could find any before we checked in. The reason we didn't score high on comfort is due to the extra bed. It was really really bad, so we tried to sleep all three in one 2-persons bed. When we searched for a stay for three adults, we assumed this was provided properly, otherwise, we would have booked 2x rooms. But otherwise, it's a fantastic hotel - nice people, lovely breakfast, beautiful view, etc

Loved the view from our room which was spacious, warm and comfortable. Very good breakfasts catering for all different tastes. We were looking forward to the dining experience in the restaurant on the top floor and were disappointed that it was closed for renovations. Close proximity to the train station which meant we had a 12 minute walk to and from the hotel. Very central for shopping and restaurants as well.

Parking garage was not owned by hotel, it was a public parking garage. I specifically search for hotels with a parking garage so if they just redirect you to a public garage with no specific security arrangement Im always unpleasantly surprised

One of the rooms wasn’t properly cleaned, especially the bathroom, there were a few dirt stains on the floor and the table around the sink.
The location, the view from our rooms (we booked 2), and the breakfast were amazing.

I booked for superior room. They put us in restricted view room which is cheaper than our booking, which one side of the room view blocked by the building. we complained than they change our room.

Crowded when we ate breakfast (weekend).
The room was clean and fresh. Perfect location, we travelled with train to Malmö and only needed to walk 300-400 m to the hotel and everything we had planed in Malmö was in walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic, tasted really good and with allot of choices.

The room had lots of space and i was really pleased to discover it had a bath too. What a luxury! The breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from, even for people with allergies. Loved the freshly made omelette. That was a bonus. I imagine the views are amazing further up the building. I was on the 4th floor and I could see some trees below which was nice. And because it was so near the central station, it was super-easy to get there.

it took so much time to get checked in, and the cards working NOT (nooo, we had to go back and queue again)...
Waitress at the restaurant who recommended the cheese tray to take with us in the room. Perfect for a busy Friday evening to skip the crowd and have some peace in private. Grateful to the restaurant staff!

The sky bar and terrace was closed during my stay and would have been nice to see and use but I knew ahead of booking it was closed. The thermostat in the room only allows you to set the temperature + or - 3” and even with it on high, it felt like cold air was coming through.
Hotel stands out amongst the skyline of the city, very easy to find, 2 min walk from central station. Hotel staff were great, hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also loved the “RITUALS” toiletries in the room.

The beds were not very comfortable. We had two twin beds that were supposed to be joined together, but they kept separating whenever we moved slightly. Perhaps some adjustments or improvements could be made to the beds.
The hotel looked amazing, it was extremely beautiful, especially the room. Also the view we had was good but i wish we were placed on a room with a the main city view so we could see more fireworks for new years. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the fireworks, and it was a great experience.
