Location was perfect for us - quiet but within walking distance of many sights. Bus directly to family member outside door and just 20 minutes away. Asked for quiet room and got it! Beautiful hotel with many interesting features. Lovely breakfast room which did get busy but staff handled it well, opening new seating area. Very good breakfast choice and civilised - serving till 10, and on weekends 11. No problem getting checkout an hour later than usual.

The bathroom was a little dated and the shower screen didn’t do much of a job to keep the room dry. Also the shower hose wasn’t long enough to put the shower head at the top of the shower head riser. Bit frustrating for a tall man. You can’t change the size of the bathroom which was compact but maybe a refresh…… (toilet seat for example).

Breakfast was nice with a good variety. Plenty of helpful staff. Room was well equipped.

The only thing was upon arrival I didn’t realize I booked a room with such a small bed so for me and my husband it was a bit tight, maybe the website could be more clear when it’s a 140, 160 vs 180 bed.

Great location and ambiance, great breakfast and fun to have access to bishops arms in the basement. The room was also more spacious than expected for being a small standard room. Also very helpful staff who were accommodating with storing our luggage both the days we arrived and left.

The room was a bit austere, dark and gloomy and had a bit of a spooky wibe. Could use some more light colors and maybe something on the walls. The curtains could not be opened all the way which added to this impression. There was a huge closet in front of the bed that seemed a bit misplaced and made the room seem small.

Nice, old building, ideal location - close to the city center and nice bars, cafés and the opera. Good breakfast. Very peaceful. We could do an early check-in, which was really appreciated.

room was wierd with TV on the wall to the right of the bed. the warm air heating had no controls in the rooom so therefore it was too warm

Its location was very good and it was comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was excellent. Special mention to the 2 concierge’s who were fantastic. Great restaurant recommendations, really helpful and very friendly

Upon arriving, it took 20 minutes at least to be spoken to at the desk as the chap was on the phone, I found the drinks in the bar to be rather expensive and on leaving I was told I had not paid for our room, even though I had before our stay, but that was ironed out. The view from our room was of a brick wall

The hotel is right in the heart of gothenburg, a quick walk or tram journey will get you anywhere you need to be. The architecture is lovely, and decorated to a high standard throughout, room was a decent size, and comfy and we where allowed to our room early

Only slight negative was the bed in our room was a little soft and bowed in the middle, but the rest of our groups beds were fine.

Our room has the smallest semi circular windows I've ever seen offering absolutely no view and very little day light. Bathroom was well equipped but extremely small and wet room idea meant towel rail and floor got soaked. No free drinks in room and mini bar not cheap. Only one coffee machine at breakfast and this was broken.

The hotel is superb. Great location. VERY elegant. Superb breakfast room and extensive breakfast offering. Superb bar in the basement serving great food. Extremely clean. Electric heater provided for room as central heating was insufficient. Allowed early check in.

It's a little outdated , facilities were fine but expensive for what it was. Check in was smooth however slight slip up at checkout. I told the reception what room we were checking out of and it was all good until they called me saying I told them the incorrect room. Wasn't pleased that I was blamed for the mistake when in fact it was their fault and I even said the room number multiple times.

One of the spotlights in the bathroom did not work which affected the possiblity for me to do my make-up. Also the channels on the TV were hard to find. Channel 4 did not appear at all. We stayed two nights and after the first night we informed the reception staff about the light and TV. Nothing happened!
