Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere was a slight smell off cigarette smoke in the air in my room part off the time
Room was tiny but I just needed it for sleep. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was tiny but nice and clean. Breakfast was more than I expected with everything you can ask for.

NetherlandsThe double bed wasn’t very big for 2 people and our windows looked to the patio were breakfast was served, so we had the curtains drawn in the morning. No noise though!
The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The staff was amazing, we actually asked for a change in bed type the day of the check-in and they changed our room without any problems. The breakfast was great- varied and plentiful (the same things every day though)

United KingdomA bit small but honestly not even a problem. We had a bunk I wish the top bunk had a bit more of a railing so you felt a bit more comfortable without feeling you’d fall off.
We were 2 people yes the room was small but honestly for the price and location we thought it was great and it did have a private bathroom. The breakfast being included was also an added plus. What was even more amazing was the free coffee as well as being able to book the sauna at the opposite hotel with no added cost!! Highly recommend this place it’s on budget but above expectations for sure.

PolandThe room is tiny but for two people is certainly enough unless you have big suitcases - in that case you may experience difficulties with moving around. The breakfast is great, variety of choices and tasty. There’s an all-day access to boiling water and coffee in case you want to drink something hot during the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a metro station right next street and it’s a 20 min walk to the city centre.

TurkeyWhen we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist offered us another room which was larger than we booked and had double bed. It was really nice of her to offer us that room and we had a really nice 3 days there. The breakfast was also nice and it was close to many places. We usually walked to everywhere but if you want the metro and bus stops are close to the hotel.

SerbiaThe room was a bit too tiny, but it is something that we were aware of when we booked it. Sometimes there was a slightly strange smell from the bathroom, but it disappeared very fast.
Great accommodation for the price. Only few minutes away from the nearest metro station, with supermarkets and restaurants just next to the hotel. It is 10 minutes walking away from T-Centralen and city center. Breakfast was great, there were many options and everything was tasty and fresh, even very near to the end of the meal. Friendly staff. Excellent free wifi in the whole hotel.

SwedenThe room was extremely small for its price. Two people don't fit in the corridor leading from the front door to the bathroom. Even though you are notified in advance about the unmade upper bed the staircase isn't that stable which makes it hard to make it yourself. There was a spilling accident on the bed and even though the blanket was changed, they didn't change the sheets.
All the receptionists were very kind and helpful. There was a room to leave your luggage after the check out. The breakfast had a lot of options and the soundproofing was very good.

ItalyVery small towels: the shower one barely covers your body, maybe if you ask they can get you something bigger. Also, we followed the instructions that said to leave dirty towels on the floor to be changed but they only took away the dirty one without replacing it; since we stayed for very few days we didn’t want to bother anyone asking for a new one, but I’m sure if we did we would have gotten one more without any problem, so it’s not really an issue.
The staff were always super kind and available, they go out of their way to help you with any request or recommendations; also, tea and coffee available at all hours in the hall and umbrellas for the guests who need them. Luggage storage in a secured room makes you feel very safe to trust them with your things. A service toilet is available for you before check in and even well after check out, which is not at all something to take for granted! It saved us because we had an early flight-in and a very late flight-out. The breakfast is delicious with everything you could want, and it is all super good and of great quality: the food gets replaced as soon as it’s finished so you don’t have to worry about coming early to breakfast. Not only they offer many breakfast styles, but for each one you have a nice selection of foods. The room in the Petit are obviously small, it says so in the name so you can’t act surprised about it, but very clean and there’s enough space for a very big luggage, a few hangers, a small desk and some little shelves. The bathroom is a little difficult to use in two people at the same time but works perfectly (phon included, small but dries your hair quickly) and the shower is great. Room service comes every day to quickly clean, not once every other day as in many other hotels. The room is quite warm, so maybe consider it if you suffer the heat; this means though that the towels or lightly wet clothes dry overnight, which was useful given the season. The street on which the hotel is located is very quiet but very safe looking, and the area overall is close to Sveavägen, where you can find many little pubs and restaurants that in the weekend make quite some people hang around (even though it’s never crowded). You can easily reach on foot T-centralen, Gamla Stan, Kungsträdgården, Stadsbiblioteket, Birger Jarlsgatan and you are very close to a few cute parks and green areas.

SwedenLack of windows, but knew this when making the reservation. So not a problem.
Location was excellent, and primary reason i stayed at Rex Petit. Only stayed a single night with very late arrival and early checkout. Room is extremely small, air-flow acceptable, but maybe would not stay in a no-window room in summer!

TurkeyThe room wasn't warm enough. That's the only thing we did not like.
We stayed in the room which has no window but air circulation is well. So there is no problem. The staff is very kind and helpfull. There is enough variety for breakfast. All facilities are very clean. Finally, let me talk about the location. The hotel only just 250 meters far away from the metro station(Rådmansgatan station). You can go where you want from that station.

AustraliaRex Petit, the room is good value for money, but be warned, the rooms are tiny. Literally a large suitcase from bed to wall, that is all the walking space in the room.
We upgraded the room to the sister property across the road. Hotel Hellstein. Staff was so helpful with this. Breakfast was nice.

TurkeyThe room was really small. If you're looking for only bad&breakfast, it's acceptable.
Good location. 100 meters to metro station and also 30 minutes walking distance to Stockholm central. The staff were kind and helpful. And the room was also clean. Hotel has umbrellas for clients! They also have open 24 hour coffee / tea buffet. The breakfast was really wonderful. It's really important to have a proper breakfast such an expensive city.

ItalyOur stay was just amazing! Great location (we almost didn't have to use public transport at all since our accommodation was 20-40 mins (by foot) away from all the famous sights), super friendly staff that was always ready to help and answer our questions. They prepared for us an early, to go breakfast as we had to leave for the airport at 2:30 in the morning. Umbrellas were available in the lobby which was so helpful during those rainy days that we had to face during our stay in Stockholm! Rooms are indeed tiny which might cause some discomfort BUT they're extra cozy as well, beds (mattresses, more precisely) were extremely comfy, they felt like soft, little clouds! The only disadvantage is that there were no power sockets / outlets near the beds, only those available next to the TV (though in the room description it says next-to-bed sockets are available), but it wasn't a big deal either, the room is small enough so by stretching a little, we could reach the sockets easily. Our room was cleaned up every single day, we never lacked anything of personal hygiene items. It was always warm inside (and even if you feel cold, you'll be provided with a radiator by the staff!). Breakfasts are another thing to mention! They were SO good, saturated, suitable for anyone (vegans, people with lactose / gluten intolerance), 10 out of 10, really. All in all, Rex hotel is a fantastic option with a reasonable price to stay when in Stockholm!

PolandThe room wasn't that room we booked, but it was very similar and I am not angry with that. I think the only disadvantage is low room size, but if you want to only sleep and eat in the hotel it is a perfect option for you
At first I have to say about the breakfast. There was a lot of food, everybody can find something for himself/herself. The room was very tiny, but in this price you will not find bigger. If you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room it's the best opition. Hotel has umbrellas for clients! They also have open 24h coffee&tea buffet
