To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

PhilippinesPersonally the room & bathroom was not my usual "aesthetic" but since I was saving on accommodations I knew what I was booking from the get go so I won't comment on the actual room itself. CONS: However, I was not a fan of the shower not being in a separate area (it was right beside the toilet without any barriers), essentially when you shower the whole floor is wet.
PROS for me: - Location was good, near Bugis Junction (which had everything I needed in case I forget to pack something) and had at least 2 MRT Lines within walkable distance. So going around SG is easy. - Room was generally clean. - Given the budget I had this was good (since prices were really up cause of Taylor Swift)

ThailandBut the room is quite dated and need some renovation. The cleanliness can be improved (bed sheets, towels, although clean, are quite old). The bathroom are quite small but I think it's comparable to other budget hotels in the same area (there are at least another 2 nearby).
Located in central location so it's easy to reach malls, supermarket etc. within walking distance. There's bus stop just in front of the hotel so you can reach further places by bus if you'd like. The staff are quite helpful and willing to service.
