Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom / toilet is incorporated within the bedroom with a clear screen and a curtain that pulls across.
There were good facilities which even had a quiet comfortable space to relax on the top floor. Free luggage lockers are a plus.

There are blue lights to light up the bathroom and the room lights. During the day it is not a problem but at night, you need to get used to the blue light as it does not seem to shut off. It is also not a big deal to have the light and all other aspects of the room and hotel are great so this comment is just a nice to have.
The location and the staff were really nice. Very nice place.

Room is a bit small but still ok if you are travelling solo or a couple with not so much luggage. There is no wardrobe/closet but there are wall racks and hooks to hang your clothes.
Nice location, a short walk to the central bus station - very convenient if you are arriving/leaving Ljubljana by bus, and also if you are travelling to Bled. The main square is also a few minutes walk away. Room is clean with very comfortable bed. Breakfast is great. I love the bread selection.

I just find the common area and check in area as chaotic because it shares with The Fuzzy Log hostel

The breakfast service was slow when busy. The food didn't come out quick enough.
The location is perfect for reaching the city centre, only 10 minutes walk. The facilities in the room is basic but clean for the price. There are lots of shared space in the lobby's common area, including the outdoor terraces, for you to socialise, work or relax.

When we arrived we complained about the cleanliness to the reception. They did send the cleaning lady back and it was better than before however I would rate the cleanliness 3/5.

I felt the desk at reception was too tall, and was as if the receptionist was looking down on me over it...
Loved the layout of the room, nice and compact for one traveller. Breakfast selection was slightly limited but maybe it was a quiet weekend, still satisfactory.

There are no mirrors in the rooms, except the small one above the sink. The sink was dirty.

Bathrooms are very, very small and right in the room, without even a small shelf to put your stuff. Also, in the online booking process it wasn't clearly stated that breakfast was not included in the price of the rom, so make sure you check. But you can pay on the spot, no problem.
Nice buffet breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Location excellent - five minites walk from the centre.

Housekeeping weren’t very good, there was no wardrobe or cupboards to unpack into, there was no fridge in the room, the bathroom was awkward to use, with the sink actually in the bedroom not the bathroom.
Location was fantastic, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, price was pretty good for the area

No complaints but the bathroom in the room is bit annoying. Since i was travelling with my friends, the privacy was bit compromised. The bathroom has no walls but just a glass separation and that to not opaque.
Perfect location for a tourist to be in. The breakfast was also quite nice. There is a free locker facility for hop your luggage which is really good.
