Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Romaniawe need to walk to the other main building for everything - meals and spa. Also i did not like that the aquapark entrance is the same as for all other outside people and you need to queue and always give the bracelet back… separate entrance for hotel guests is needed!! Maybe even a tunnel or something to be able to propery and conveniently reach the aquapark. In winter with rain is no fun to walk there… And then for dinner to go in the restaurant with all spa bags is also not convenient - as it did not make sense to walk and leave them in the room and then go back there for dinner.
Hotel is in the stadium area, not in the main building. clean small rooms but you can hear anything from the neighbors Close to hotel have lidl, the city center of Poprad is within walking distance

Czech RepublicWas a little bit of a walk to breakfast and dinner outside to the aqua park which was also a little disappointing that had to walk outside between the pool and the apartment outside in the cold. But for the price point it was worth the walk! Only having one key for the apartment was the hardest point as need key to power the electric but needed key to get in. So if someone with kids had someone stay in with the kids and the other person wanted to pop across to the entertainment bar then they would have to knock to get in risking waking the family as can’t go with key without leaving the family without electricity.
Was nice and clean and tidy

RomaniaThe hotel is placed inside a stadium tribune, so the rooms were rather small and not very sound proof. One can hear almost everything from nearby rooms. The wi-fi was pretty bad, especially un the afternoon/evening when more users were connected.
Very good location, close to the aqua park (5min walk), close to a retail store. The rail station was about 15min walk. The staff was nice and helpfull. The 2 meals option was quite helpful and the menu was rich and variate. The pools access was everything we needed.

SlovakiaThe only thing we did not really like was that the ad does not directly say you'll have to walk (absolutely not a long distance) to the aquapark for breakfast and dinner. We knew the swimming pools would be a couple of meters away but the dining was not clear.

HungaryBathrobe and towel was not provided for the wellness.
Riverside is not in the Aquacity building but 200 meters away inside the sport stadium. For food you need to walk over to the main buiding. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great with lots of choices, they had gluten free bread upon request.

HungaryI would suggest to add more place for drying our clothes - it was very difficult to dry swimmsuits and skiing clothes, no place. Also, for skiboots it would been good to have a place to dry them, not in the rooms with hair-driers.
Good value for money. Very good to have the spa and wellness nearby, good food, good location for skiing.

HungaryYou have to walk ~200-250m for breakfast, lunch and aquapark, we were in the summer, but sometimes this was uncomfortable, even in the winter. Dinner was 18:00-21:00, one time at 19:30 there was just half of the offered quantity of food and there wasn’t any dessert, when I asked for reload, they just answered it’s finished, but anyway it was delicious. Last day we didn’t get Aquacity ticket.
We received a room upgrade, so we had almost double size room and bathroom. Very good to have unlimited free access to the aquapark. Basic, but good breakfast and dinner.

LatviaWifi was poor. Difficult to find at first. My room was by the tennis courts and in the daytime it felt like I lacked privacy as the only window cover was blinds. The pet fee was 15 euro a night which seemed a bit high compared to other places I've stayed.
Comfortable clean rooms. Great shower. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Access to Aquacity. The pet fee is 15 euro per night and Wellness area access is 10 euro.

United KingdomThere were little plays for the children but otherwise we had only one slide which was way too small and not many things to do in these swimming pools with my small kids in this big place. the staff there were strange ,not very helpful with egg paintings and the play area for children could have had more things for bigger kids not just the little ones.
Very nice and.precious place with many choices for adults.

AustraliaRoom was a bit too hot for us, could not locate A/C where to adjust temperature. We opened a window and as a bonus enjoyed the snow falling outside window. Heaters in the bathroom didn't work well but as room was very hot our clothes dried overnight anyway.
A room not too big, but we only slept there as we spent whole day out. Meals served at a restaurant a short stroll from the hotel, not a big deal, much better when snowing, kids had so much fun just walking for a meal. An unlimited pool entry to Aqua city included.

SlovakiaIt was a pity that we were on Floor 1, and the rest of the family in two rooms on 4th floor. However we were able to communicate by phone.
Breakfast excellent with a great choice. Evening meal also. A number of Slovak dishes for foreign guests to try. We had stayed in the hotel before so knew what to expect. A great experience all round. Family enjoyed the swimming pool.

SlovakiaReally hot in whole hotel and temperature cannot be regulated in rooms :(.
Despite the Covid regulation, the facilities did the best what was allowed and the Silvester event was really funny for children also for parent :). Also wellnes and aquapark was great despite the most pools must be closed due to regulations. All our family enjoyed really great end of year and welcoming of year 2022.

SlovakiaThe hotel is situated away from the main spa and aquapark complex. Breakfast and dinner are also served in the main building. You need to take a 5-minute walk in the street after hot water procedures to get back to your hotel room.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and dinner. Excellent spa in aquacity nearby. Each time I go to this spa center, main building is usually booked out days before. This is a good and cheaper alternative.
