Just minor stuff - the socket near one of the beds was kinda hidden in the bedside table; fridge was in cabinet that needed repair (skewed door).

Location is good - 5 minutes walking from the train station, or from the funicular. There's a mineral water spring just two minutes away. At the same time, the hotel is a bit away from the road, so our stay was very quiet. The room is very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom extremely clean, the shower is very good. Breakfast is combination of freshly-cooked dishes selected by the menu and buffet, sufficiently nutritious and diverse. All members of staff very accommodating and helpful.

We had an amazing time at the hotel! It is located at the edge of the town so not too many neighbours. Staff was super kind, the room was fantastic with a view to the mountain. Breakfast was nice, all hot meals were prepared on spot as our request. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs where the food is fantastic. Parking spots are right behind the building and closed with a gate. There are trails starting just 3 minutes away from the hotel. Other nice towns are easily and quickly accessible by car and even by bus. Bus stop is across the street and very cheap to use (dogs are also allowed).

Our room came with a balcony but unfortunately it was rainy, cold weather so we weren’t able to enjoy it. The room was very big and clean, with a nice bathroom. There was also a fridge in the room. The breakfast had a variety of cold choices, hearty and sweet. The warm breakfast was ‘à la carte’. The restaurant ‘Spitz’ offers very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. As guests of the hotel you get 10% discount. We had hamburger, Thai curry and pork ribs. All three recommended! We really recommend the restaurant, best we ate during our stay in Slovakia.

Very well located pension, nearby many hiking routes and the local train/electricka station. The rooms are big and super clean with comfy beds. Breakfast is really good too (including the coffee). Martina at the reception desk takes very good care of all the guests, she provides hiking tips etc. The restaurant on the ground floor, which doesn't belong to the hotel, is nice too and it is an easy option for dinner after a tiresome day in the mountains. All in all very good value for money.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything in Stary Smokovec.

Breakfast was very good. Hotel is not too far from the train station and cable car station. There is no lift at the hotel though; so if you are going there with less mobile person, ask for the room at ground floor if possible. Overall the stay was great 👍

Good varied breakfast with attentive service. Room was quite big and have a really cool view to Tatras. The accomodation was close to hiking routes and also to railways. Also there was a possibility to eat at the local restaurant called Spitz, which has quite nice atmosphere. Parking was free.

We loved everything

Traveled here with friends and we enjoyed every day and night we spent at the Tatrasport Zampa. We felt like we were visiting old friends or close family members. The team made us feel like we are part of Tatrasport Zampa family. We felt loved all the days we stayed here. Food, rooms and everything exceeded our expectations. Location is wonderful as well, the view from balcony is breath taking. Thank you very much, we love you all, will definitely return again. And definitely will cheer for both brothers on next Winter Olympic games :)

There is absolutely nothing but positives for the hotel, the welcome, the comfort - the entirety of our stay was amazing.

Even from before we arrived, everything about Penzion Zampa was amazing. Martina contacted us to prior to arrival to check when we were expecting to arrive and very kindly offered for us to check-in early as we took an overnight train into Slovakia. This was very much appreciated as we were obviously tired and wanted to freshen up! We were even offered breakfast which was a lovely gesture. The room itself was incredibly clean and comfortable - the beds were huge and comfy. Breakfast was delicious with a large menu to choose from and again Martina and her team's dedication to making guests happy and taking care of them was amazing. The penzion is centrally located in a quiet location and even has an amazing restaurant attached too, where you received a discount due to staying in the penzion. All in all we couldn't be happier with our stay and will definitely be returning next year! THANK YOU to all at Zampa for making us feel so welcome <3
