Staff did not speak fluent English. The person at the reception did, but the restaurant staff didn't. They were helpful though.

The light switch was quite far from the bed... some planning needed, when you go to sleep. Also electric sockets were not easy to reach from the bed.

Very comfortable hotel in the very center of the city. Safe parking lot available, you can leave your car inside the parking lot and just walk outside the entrance to get an easy experience of Košice, starting directly from the middle of the pedestrian zone. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, bathrooms are big and well equipped with everything. Breakfast is amazing, with a wide choice of salty or sweet foods, and hot / cold beverages. Rooms are quite and silent, even if nearby are many places where music is played. Staff always kind and helpful.

Even if it's only may, it has been too hot on the second floor. Fortunately, AC is available in every room, however, the hallway in front of the room was really hot and no fresh air.

Breakfast, beautiful reconstructed historical building, big rooms with nice bathroom, AC and everything what you can need for short or long stay. Great location.

The place was dimly lit, especially the main entrance and the lights in the upstairs corridors only come on when sensors detected movement. There is limited seating in lobby area and no bar on the ground floor although there is apparently a wine cellar which we did not visit. (The fruit juice was watery and poor quality which let down an otherwise good breakfast).

Super buffet breakfast with big choice of cooked meats, eggs, pastries, cheeses, cereals etc. The bedroom was very spacious and well equipped. Public areas decorated with impressive collections of glassware and pieces of antique furniture. The location in the beautiful old town could not be more central. Secure car park at the back of the property. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money.

You can here the noise from the room upstairs - the footsteps when person is wearing shoes, the loud talk.

The room is spacious and clean, with all the needful toiletries. The location is great - right in the city center. Good breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel from the 30/11/2022-03/12/2022. I thought the breakfast options were really good, with a decent option of bread/pastries, meat and dairy produce, fruit/vegetables, good coffee machine, clean breakfast area. The location is fantastic and provides excellent value for money, the reception and kitchen staff were welcoming during my stay.

if you are turning up late for breakfast, hardly anything left the corridor uses sensors, very dark before it lights up, like a ghost movie when you check in at night restaurant not open in the evening and weekend no bar

Only one thing that my mother did not like was the smell after the renovation of the hotel.

My mother lived in a hotel Zlaty Ducat for one week. She said that Hotel Zlaty Ducat have very nice lacation in the center of Kosice. . Breakfasts were delicious. The hotel has amazing and friendly staff. My mom from Ukraine. She doesn't speak Slovak and only a little bit English, but the hotel*s staff explained everything very well to her. She felt very well. . Thank you very much!
