Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LebanonIt’s a camping site so the room was quite small. We visited in Spring and it was cold and raining so we didn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities, perhaps it’s much more enjoyable in the summer for a family with kids
Next door parking Stylish room 10 mins drive from the historic center of San Marino Air conditioners work well to moderate the cold weather Nice facilities and outdoor area

New ZealandWifi was so slow it wasn’t actually worth using, although we were busy enough that we didn’t really need it anyway so not a big problem.
Great facilities and the bus stops right outside the campsite. Cabins were good.

United KingdomThe towels provided were thin cloth, more like tea towels than bath towels. We were surprised that in this sort of chalet accommodation there were no self catering facilities at all - not even a kettle or fridge. We had a bad experience with our evening meal at the restaurant, although to be fair the staff apologised profusely for this and did their best to make things up to us.
Pleasant small resort of little chalets in an attractive setting with a pool and on-site restaurant. You have to wear a swim cap in the pool, but you can buy these for 2 euros at the pool reception. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Seemed very family friendly.

AustraliaVery poor wifi. Walls so thin you can hear everything in the rooms next to you, morning and night. Could do with refurbishment.
Location was good for visiting San Marino and neighbouring villages. The restaurant next door was excellent. Short drive to supermercato. Having parking on site was great.

GermanyOur situation was that we got different house then we booked due to circumstances with the guests before us (someone went to hospital). We were refunded as we got smaller house. After pressuring the owner that our 1.5 year old cannot fit in the mobile house we got the wooden house. Still it was a disappointment as we booked the 2 bedroom house in advance and we looked forward to it. We still feel that previous guests should be moved instead of us. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep well with our son in 1 room place. We might come back as the place offers the playgrounds for kids which are very convenient and animals that our son really liked. The pool had a bit cold water to be honest - it was colder then the one in the sea 😅.
The village is a nice place for a family with kids or couple. We liked the parking in front of the wooden house and that we could sit in front in the evening - watchout for mosquitoes. The kitchen is also equiped enough so we had no trouble with breakfasts or dinners. Bathroom shower has good pressure so it helps to get all the sand from Rimini beach ⛱️

HungaryFirst of all they do not accept €200 banknotes. When you pay €800 that should be a possibility. You need a bathing cap to get into the pool, which I found strange and inconvenient when reading about in someone's review, but on location it didn't bother me at all. The wifi signal is terrible, especially in the evening. It should not be an issue in 2022! Then again you can't even switch to mobile data because the chalets are built of concrete and there's no reception inside. Housekeeping comes every day and the changes all towels, which is unnecessary if not thrown on the floor. Their own policy says that you are not allowed to listen to the radio, gather or drive the car inside the property from 1-3p.m. because it's quiet time. Nonetheless they blast music from the loudspeakers all day long. But the loudest music comes from 9p.m. when the children are entertained.
It is located at a beautiful, quiet location. Parking is conveniently close to each chalet. There are a bunch of animals on the property (goats, sheep, chicken, turkey, rabbit, peacock, etc), some of which run free during the day, which is interesting for the children. The swimming pool is large enough, well designed and both pools are good for children of any age. There is a lifeguard on duty at all times. There is a bar next to the pool, the prices are not too bad. There is also a restaurant and a shop on site, but we haven't tried either. We got a chalet, which was large enough for us. The kitchenette was well equipped, the AC functioned properly, albeit a bit loud. The refrigerator was a bit beat up though. There is a patio with outside furniture with each chalet which is good. We asked the staff for a drying rack and got one in no time. Children are entertained at the pool side and in the evening. There is also water aerobic each day.

Czech Republicwhen you want to go to swimming pool, you have to buy swim hat…otherwise you can’t go to swimming pool and after 23.00 you cannot come with car and park when your room is, but before the area itself.

SloveniaThe room was a good size with a outside furniture. I was only noticing a poorer connection with the internet, but for us that was not an issue.
For the amount I paid I got an excellent place. The room was quiet and clean, parking place on site, staff very friendly and professional. And not hard to find.

AustraliaMy only small issue was the inability to get a cup of tea (tea bag and a cup of hot water) after breakfast time at either the poolside cafe or restaurant/cafe. Coffee fine so a kettle would have been appreciated.
This place consists of a number of chalets surrounded by olive trees and is ideally a family place with a large communal pool and animals like goats, turkeys and chickens. Even a peacock. With parking at each chalet it is convenient for the easy short drive into the old town avoiding 24 hour parking charges. Parking at the base cable station makes the access to the old town easy. My chalet shared a wall with another behind it and conversations in the adjoining chalet were very clear especially at 02:00 in the morning. So avoid hanky panky if in a chalet with shared wall as obviously no sound proofing!

SloveniaThe sofa bed vas very soft, but we only stayed one night so there was no problem.
The bungalow was very nice, clean. Bathroom is super, wit lots of towels, bide, hair dryer... We loved animals at the property. We really recommend Garden Village to all, the location is 10 min away from old town (tower) - you can go there by feet. Also market and gas station are near by. We had a very nice welcome from the ladies at reception, WI-FI was working perfectly, pool was not opened yet (April the 30th).

United States of AmericaMy bathroom sink was not going down. or very slowly. My bed was pretty uncomfortable and the blanket was not warm enough for the season.
It reminded me of RV parks, larger campgrounds in the US. There was a reception/gate area where I checked in, gave me a map, and described where my little cottage will be. I drove by the pool, a large area for campers (RVs) a little petting zoo, or whatever it was with donkeys and other animals and finally I got to my little cottage with parking. It was in nature, pretty nice. It wasn't season so I'm sure that is why it is quieter now than in the summer. I had a nice one-night stay.
