Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe water pressure was really bad in the bathroom. We booked two rooms, my friends room you could barely turn on the faucet water would burst out water everywhere, while my room water was barely coming out. The beds were what you got in college.
The room was quite big, plus the location was close to everything, walking distance to everything. The staff was also really helpful if you needed anything.

KuwaitThere was one girl who was not courteous and welcoming. No smile on her face. Short hair and her name was starting with the letter P...something like Prathanom not sure if I got that right. Guests come after a travel if nothing else we expect atleast nice hospitality. Such a put off to start the trip with an experience like this.

PhilippinesWe have to request everything (even though it is free), it is inconvenient to call reception every time we need dental kits, bath robes, or other items. These are necessities that must be placed in the room prior to guest check-in.
We like the location because it is close to the city center. We also appreciate the discount at the linked restaurant. There are also numerous restaurants nearby. The room is cleaned daily.

SingaporeFront desk should have more spare cash on standby whenever guests are in dire need of spare change, this is because tourists are usually only given 1000bhat during currency exchange and sometimes we face problems when the taxi or grab drivers are not able to present balance loose change and the front desk is the last hope left.
Rooms were spacious, bathing soap smells awesome, make-up room service is good, no noisy neighbours.
