The beach is average.

Ideal for a holiday with kids, my son loved it... The beach is k, there was high tide for 2 days so we could ot go in, later went he tides went down we went for a walk... The pool is amazing and makes up for the average beach. The water n slide is amazing for kids and adults. Food was delicious on all days and service is excellent. The head chef was amazing as we asked for some specific changes in our food and he accommodated it. There are food markets right outside the hotel so its easy to walk and explore. The city is about 10 mins by a tuk tuk very easy. We stayed at the hotel during our stay as there is so much to do. The spa is beautiful.

The only negative for us was the complete lack of service on sunbeds near the beach in the Regency Club area. The sun beds themselves look dirty and have seen better days. But on the last day of our stay at the resort, a very unpleasant incident occurred!!! we went to The Barai spa area to find out about spa procedures where we did not meet a single employee or a prohibitory sign that you should not go there, after 5 minutes we met one of the spa worker, as it turned out she was the director of The Barai spa area, Mrs. Anette Schlemmer, but instead of greeting in a quite rude form she was explained to us that it is prohibited to be in the spa area without an accompanying employee, it is absolutely unacceptable to talk to clients in the form in which she allowed herself to talk to us.!! After meeting with her, we felt discomfort the rest of the day, which ruined our enjoyment of our last day at the resort!

One of the best resorts in Hau Hin. excellent breakfasts with a lot of choice of food, good regency club lounge especially in the pre dinner time, fantastic pools and generally friendly and helpful staff. The only negative for us was the complete lack of service on sunbeds near the beach in the Regency Club area.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony at this property 12 years ago, this was our first return since then, now with three young kids in tow. We had requested adjoining rooms, but when this wasn't available upon checkin the manager made extra efforts to accommodate us, resulting in successfully finding adjoining rooms at what I'm sure was a higher level, but at no additional charge. Great location and amenties, kids loved it, above all the staff hospitality in the truest Thai tradition made the stay a success.

The hotel is clearly understaffed. It was hard to get responses ahead of the trip and there were long queues to the reception. We got better service in Mariott last time.The pool acess room was nice but as the garden was 100% in shade, there were lots of mosquitos in the night time. It seems as most pool access rooms are on shady side which was a suprise. Our beachbag and suncreme were stolen from our sunbeds, something you would not expect to happen in this type of resort.

The beach is superb as well as the pool area. Restaurant staff manager Best was wonderful and the staff is kind and helpful.

We had a small issue with our room at the beginnig and the staff were exceedingly warm, friendly and solved the problem efficiently and quickly!

I just loved the size and space of the whole facility and it felt like all the guests are greeted with this sense of space.

A large noisy children's party impinged on the tranquility. The extensive grounds aided escape and it was only three hours, but not really appropriate for a 5 star resort of this kind.

Certain room design wasn't smart. For example, the toilet door is hard to open and access to toilet. Even with the middle doors between bathtub and bedroom are closed, if someone splashes water while in tub, water overflow may flow to bedroom floor. The lights switches options were either bright or very dark. Couldn't just set bathroom light and room dark.

Overall good resort for family with kids. Most outstanding is the swimming pool and sand area and access to private beach.

I am 73 year old who has no problem standing up showering. While the shower room has an anti slip mat, I could use a side wall rail to keep balance when bending down to rub my legs. Anyway no big deal—I just grabbed the shower base!

We were impressed with the well designed disable room, with large bathroom, two stools for sitting while showering, flexible hose shower, etc , perfect for my wife who is wheel chair bound. We were not aware the hotel has such facilities until the hotel staff called us a few days before our arrival. Breakfast has a large selection of healthy stuff. It is something we look forward to each day! A deck chair facing the sea is my favorite hangout. I could sit there reading or dozing off all day. Hotel staff are friendly, from the front gate securities guards who recognized us after the first pass, front desk staff, pool staff, restaurant staff, tennis coach, every one greets us warmly and makes us feel at home. The hotel is located at a quiet end of the beach. Besides the clean, long beach you can visit interesting places nearby such as Chopstick mountain and Thailand seven super heroes park.

Breakfast in club lounge was a little disappointing compared to main breakfast restaurant.

Beautiful resort with excellent facilities. We stayed in a refurbished room which was bright, modern, comfortable and very well equipped. Great location with easy access to walk to outside bars & restaurants and next to Cicada Market at weekend.

The prices of drinks & food in the bar’s & restaurants were excessive, considering the availability of good bars & restaurants just outside the complex. This reflected on the quiet feeling & lack of ambiance, especially in the evenings. If the prices were more competitive it would attract more guests to stay in house.

Loved the pool, the grounds were exceptional. The staff were all welcoming, polite & friendly. The room was clean & very comfortable.

The bd was very comfortable. Shower was nice size, clean, good water pressure and temperature. It was easy to adjust the temperature in the room. For my birthday they surprised me by leaving a really nice happy birthday chocolate cake with napkins and cutlery in my room. Very nice indeed. I also highly recommend McFrland's House, the high end restaurant on the property. Excellent food and excellent service, although pricey. Definitley worth it though!
