Hotel is gloomy, and the reception closes at night. You have to depend on minor staff for check outs at night. Generally the staff is good including those at reception. However, the particular lady at reception on 23rd April night was very very rude! She didn't care two hoots for guests concerns, and seemed that guests are a real problem for the hotel. I have travelled the world and stayed at various hotels, and this is the first ever character that I've come across at a hotel with such a negative attitude!

Sadly this hotel is a shadow of its former self. I've stayed here many times over the last 40 years and it saddened me to see it in decline. Staff are trying very hard and are helpful. I sincerely hope it can regain its previous status as it is well located.

Room size is large and bed very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and the location is convenient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool is still good and is mineral not chlorine.

Hotel is not fully functional. It is without any staff and there is only 1 restaurant in operation and the hotel staff does not encourage to patronise it. Swimming pool, spa and everything is closed. There is no room service also so have to go out to eat something. Some of the floors are completely shut.

Location is excellent as it is very close to the railway station from the airport. Easy access from any transport mode and also is conveniently located within a shopping area. Ample food places and shopping centres in walking distance.

That they keep on and on about no smoking but my mum was putting in the room that smell like someone was smoking in there. We check in at 2pm they said the room not ready yet but they will give us the room with window and a good view so we left for the day and comeback after 9pm as soon as we walked in the room I can smell like someone was smoking in the room I call reception but she was telling me that I was check in since 2pm I told her yes I was checking in at 2pm but the room was not ready yet and we just came back is there any chance that we can change the room unfortunately they said this is the only room left so I asked them for more spray to reduce the smell so we end up sleeping with mask. I was booking for 4night the cleaners very good that been taking care for my mum because she had an allergy especially smoke (cigarette). I don’t think I will return to this place anymore.

The pool needs some attention There is a big crack in tiles on bottom of pool. All tiles around pool dirty Nowhere to get pool towel. No atmosphere

In need of refurbishment. Dingy, even during the day. The photos on booking.com appear to have been taken some time ago.

We caught the train from the airport into Bangkok. The hotel was an easy walk from the station, close to shopping, food, etc. Standard hotel room, clean, reasonably priced.

Breakfast was terrible. One of the reasons we stay here was the beautiful breakfast above the pool with the omelette man! Pool little run-down Hot water was cold Had to sign for towels to go to pool Indian restaurant smelt terrible and made 4th floor smell terrible.

Room and hotel as a whole a little run down. Breakfast wasn't the buffet breakfast we were expecting. The breakfast we did receive was very basic and would have like to be able to have a cup of tea and a juice. Not just one for the other. I paid $452 AUD for two rooms for 2 nights, in low season. Would have excepted a lot more for this price.
