Great location- close to the beach, Kata night market, restaurants and lots of little shops. A short walk of 10/15 mins! Our room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly! The pool area was lovely and a great place to sit after a busy day. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Phuket!

The location is a little bit far out from the town and the motorbike noise was very noisy at night from the main road and infrequent passing outside the hotel (even with the air con on)

No fan nor A/C in the detached bathroom/toilet really lowered the overall comfort.

The establishment is beautiful and one does not feel that he is staying in such a busy location. Very good breakfast.

Water pressure to shower hence ran hot and cold. Only cold water supply to sink seems normal for Thailand.

Breakfast very good available until 11am. Location up a hill situated between Karon and Kata beaches, 15 & 20 minutes walk respectively. No footpaths to main road, very busy traffic. Large room with Queen size bed.

Great comfort at a good price, nice pool and a good breakfast. Really helpful med questions asked. Room 16 had a fabulous super large bed that was really comfortable. Short 10-15 walks to beaches and restaurants.

The short walk on a busy road.

The Kata Tranquil Villa is located between Kata and Karon beaches. The only negative there was a short walk on a busy road to get to either village but it wasn't an issue. The Villa itself was impeccibly clean and comfortable. Noi the Manager was awake to greet me at 1am (thanks Noi) and was more than accommodating for any of our needs. Washing service and daily cleaning if desired. Their buffet breakfast was very reasponably price and delicious (good variety of foods)! Pool was divine and the landscaping very appealing. Highly recommend The Kata Tranquil VIlla.

Our stay at Kata Tranquil Villa was simply perfect. We really liked the location, in a nice area very close to Kata and Karon, and the staff kindness. Breakfast has a good variety as they prepare eggs, pancakes and waffles on the spot…everything delicious.

The staff at the front desk ensured a smooth check-in process despite it being late in the night. The villa was massive with all the necessary facilities and also a spa bath. The property is off the main street and is mostly quiet. The staff were very understanding and accommodating with the late check-out.

The walk to the promenade and beach is across a busy road without proper sidewalks which is not the most relaxing way to start the day. It is only 10 to 15 min though and the case for many hotels in Karon. A little suggestion would be to offer body lotion besides the shampoo in the bathroom.

Nice clean rooms with a big balcony, beautiful tiles and decoration throughout the hotel. The swimming pool area is great to relax. The provided beach towels, water and coffee. Overall a quiet and tranquil place. Good location in reach of both Karon and Kata beach.

Bed could be longer/more comfortable. Position is a bit away from the beach (would be far too walk) but still ok.

Super staff, clean & quiet rooms. Walking distance to pubs / restaurant 5-10 mins, beach 15 mins but easy to walk. Highly recommend this gem.

For me personally the location wasn't ideal - the hotel is located at the top of a little hill, with the road to the nearest stores (7-eleven and Makro), as well as the beach, leading across the main road (not super pedestrian-friendly) which tends to experience burning sun during the day. The nearest stores are about 10min on foot, while the beach is 15-20min, so that's convenient, other than the previously mentioned. It's not a huge deal, but probably good to keep in mind if that's something that's relevant to you when booking.

The room was spacious enough, there was a relatively large terrace, the pool is cool, there was a small fridge in the room, Wi Fi was good and the A/C worked fine. The bed was really comfy. Everything was clean. They refill coffee/tea/creamer and water daily. I would like to mention that they use glass bottles for the water that they reuse/recycle, always something that is appreciated. The staff is nice. Overall, good value for money.

Walking on the main road but it’s not really a ‘didn’t like’

We stayed in the villa on the resort which had 2 bedrooms with a separate and very large kitchen and lounge area. This was ideal for family of 5 - Top class accommodation, 5-10 min walk to beach, quite hilly though and walking on road for a section of this.

Just a suggestion but I think it would be great if there is a water dispenser on the property so that we don’t need to buy bottled water every day. Chopsticks would be a good addition to the kitchen as well.

Everything! We booked the villa so we had a kitchen to ourselves which was great for breakfasts and for times we didn’t feel like eating out. Very convenient location - approx 10 minutes to Karon and Kata Beach and 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was massive! Wifi connection was stable, which was very important to me as I work online. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would choose to stay here again.
