A kettle would have been a welcome addition. The pool was not usable. Not really easy to get to know fellow travellers.

At 400 baht a night, the bungalow was a great accommodation. Very quiet location. Bug and animal free. Pretty comfortable.

The pool was green with dead bloated frogs in it. I saw the man clean it but it was the same colour as before he had started. The room also let in lots of bugs which was fine as we were not scared but the mosquitoes were very annoying. The nets provided have holes in too

Restaurant closed. I know it’s hard with few guests to keep a restaurant running though would just be convenient for breakfast.

Great location and value for money, between Haad Salad and Haad Yai. Restaurant not open at the time I stayed, but Cookies Resort and a mini-mart just a few minutes walk. Pool was full but needed cleaning. Beaches better for swimming anyway.

it doesn’t have hot water, and beds are not comfortable. it has ants in the room, but I think that’s not avoidable. the owner was very nice and switched us to another room available which was way nicer.

location is ok in haad Yao but have to walk a bit, but I’d advise renting a bike (in the property it’s cheap). has a pool and it’s quiet the owner answers fast on booking chat has a (very needed) mosquito net in every bed

Really nice location, the best snorkelling that we did in the island was just in the back of the bungalows. Rooms were nice and clean enough. Not all the comforts available (drinking water or hot shower). For the money you pay it’s really worth it.

Only a towel given as a duvet/sheet! We found a pair of underwear in the room from the last guest.... eww. Only fan and no breeze so very hot at night. No staff to be seen most of the time.

Good value for money. Nice pool. Can walk down to the sea (no beach, only rocks). Hammock on balcony. Would recommend for a few nights only.

For starters we weren’t given any duvets just towels, the first morning I woke up with a cough we suspected it was down to the room and then we discovered black mould in the top corner and behind the fan, both the fans were also rusty and filthy confirming it was due to the room. The facilities were non existent there is no restaurant the pool is green with dead frogs in it, there seemed to be no staff there most of the time although she was friendly when we met her. The mattress was mouldy the mosquito nets have huge holes in and to cap it all off we had a huge ant infestation along with mosquitoes and cockroaches (there’s huge holes in the floor, walls etc)when informing the staff via booking.com I was told they were full so they could only come and clean the room which I told wouldn’t help the infestation as the issue is the holes everywhere.

It was cheap, the staff were lovely, kind and smiley the view was nice.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced at any hostel ever! No one was there to check me in when I arrived (I arrived within check in hours). There’s no reception to go and talk to any workers. Talked to a guy living on the property and he called the owner and he told him which room to let me into and he said the owner would be in touch. I didn’t hear anything for 5 hours, by this time it was dark outside and I found a huge gekko in my room. Tried to get it out myself but couldn’t, saw some guys walking outside so I chased them down for help. One of them apparently worked there. They helped me out and then some lady started yelling from the balcony that I needed to pay. Very disrespectful, never got officially checked in or out, got no info on the property. Besides the gekko, could never find anyone who worked there to ask anything. Also they give you a big towel as a blanket, horrible.

Mosquitos are natural there, it's the jungle. Screens on windows or mosquito nets would be helpful. Bring your own sheet for sleeping as they provide a duvet towel.

Lucky resorts is tucked into its own jungle, within walking distance of haadyao beach and haad salad beaches. I loved the privacy of my small bungalow. The pool is wonderful and cooled me off during the heat of day. For me, I love simple living, so a room with a fan, hammock, and pool access was good enough for the price of all. The resort host was most responsive here on booking.com in the messaging widget. They were very patient with my sad attempts at motorbiking.

It was ABit dirty booked 2 nights wish we booked one, pool is not working or shouldn't be as was very dirty and a ant 🐜 infestation in our room

The location is fantastic, the view of the ocean, the swimming pool. The bungalow was small but very confortable with a nice bed and bathroom. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you.

Quiet and serene place with swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful. Just off the rocks towards Had Salad I found the only spot for snorkelling on Ko Phangan, where the visibility (August!) was somewhat good.
