Balcony sliding door was slightly ajar which let some of the crawling insects go inside the room (it’s expected in Phi Phi and other hotels since you’re staying in an island)

Sink broke during stay and had to be replaced. Bed was... penitential, which I suppose was a virtue during Lent.

The bathroom was a bit dirty and the room was very basic but served it’s purpose.

The view from outside the room was so nice! The staff were really helpful and very grateful for them carrying the bags up and down the many stairs, good value for money.

The room was located on top of the hill so you need to be physically prepared to climb many steps from the street to the hotel and then again from reception to the room to need to climb up again the stairs several floors.

The the room has a balcony with a nice view. The AC works fine and the room is spacious

be aware that there’s a LOT of stairs to get to the hotel which is difficult in the heat. the room is pretty basic and old fashioned. we had some issues with heating noises from other guests in the night and the shower wasn’t great.

Also all noise from the seaside (although it seems not so close) goes directly to the room :D So we are happy we read the reviews before and took ear plugs, otherwise too hard to sleep in pop music noise.

Here the best thing is the view, but to get it you have to climb up the hill. Same way goes to View Point of Phi Phi. This hotel is pretty old, so you can see that in furniture and premises. Balcony view is super nice, but too hot to stay there in day time. Air con could do with updating and the stairs were a killer! But there is nothing that could be done about the stairs and we got used to them in the end - although it is a good walk away from the main strip it is still quite noisy on a night time but we still managed to sleep ok

185 steps to get to our room in extreme heat was very tiring. The room was in the forest area, so monkeys were on our balcony, small ants in the room, a large bug crawled over my head while I was sleeping. We asked for a double bed, but we were given two singles.

The view was very nice. The staff were nice and very helpful in carrying our luggage up and down the steps.

the view is unbelievable, the restaurant was great. the hike up to the hotel and then the room was tough in the heat but worth the view, also nice if you want to get away from the buisness of town. definitely the nicest room we had on the island

You had to walk what felt like walking Mount Everest up to the hotel, and then when we got our room we had to walk outside again and back up even more steps, even with being so high up you can still hear loud music and every drunken person screaming & shouting on the way back from pubs

Nothing! There was 250 steps to our room, but we anticipated this after reading other reviews, so it was fine and kept us fit during our 3 night stay!

The view from our room was incredible! Very basic room, but for the amount of time we spent in there and what we needed it for, it was perfect!

2 things. 1 Unfortunately we could hear the slinky bar quite clearly at night. Some earplugs sorted that though. 2 The reception is 100 steps up a hill, our accommodation was up another 100 steps. Only book if you are able to do the climb.

Tap was very lose in bathroom, no shower curtain, water squirted everywhere from shower head when it stayed on the wall ! Charged extra money even though I booked a room with 2 doubles and a single. Gave me 1 double and a 2 singles then charged me to push two singles together and bring in another.

The view was great. Beds were comfy, room was clean with cold water supplied.

Unfortunately there was a lot of outside noise. The bedrooms are close to the staircase to the viewpoints, so a lot of people is crossing nearby. Also the cleaning staff was quite noisy during the morning

Would love for the key card to be seprate from the key so you can leave your air conditioning on. The island is very hot and it would be nice to come back to a cool room. Also would be nice to have a few english speaking channels on the TV.

Best view in Phi Phi island guaranteed (!) The room is pretty large. If there were defects the staff fixed them quickly. Getting to the hotel requires going up stairs. we liked the fact of being a bit distanced from the crowds but if you don't wanna sweat a bit don't come, then complain and give bad reviews (!). These people are hard working people (!) who created a hotel that took a lot of hard work and give the guests a unique experience with a special view, respect and appreciate their labor. Sorry for getting personal but the reviews we read before made us understand how some tourists could be very petty, narrow minded and disrespectful for their hosts.

The walk to my room each trip was difficult, I’m a fit person but walking up the stairs every trip to my room was hard especially after staying for 3 nights. And I didn’t get much sleep when the Ibiza pool party was playing because I could hear it from the room, so 2/3 nights of my stay I had very poor sleep.

The view from the room was a amazing, I stayed at the very top room and could see both beaches… was a perfect view, the bed and room was very clean and nice.

Long stairs, quite tireding to get there every everning but they have staff to deliver your luggager from/to the pier.

Absolutely great view from the room! You could lay on the bed and see the view of island. I liked the luggage service which is free of charge. The hotel can deliver your luggage from/to the pier.

I’m an easy sleeper but the mattress was very pokey and needs updating. If you’re not fit please be aware it’s up in the mount and many steps to get to hotel.
