United KingdomThe hotel in general is in need of TLC, it is noticeable that some work has been done in certain areas but other areas look very tired. The sun loungers are large and wooden with wooden tables attached to the umbrellas lots of these were broken and the mattress’s on the loungers did not get cleaned the whole time we were there, with monkey poo on one that just got pushed on to the floor. The veranda made of wood needs replacing as lots of it is coming up. The upstairs pool gets shaded quite quickly but you can move to the lower pool and get sun, unfortunately this pool was not as clean and the bottom section seemed to have no filtration system and was quite stagnant,so we didn’t swim in this section. Our room was located under the pool area and at about 6am most mornings you could hear everything being swept. The light in our wardrobe did also not turn off so was very bright all night.They did offer us to move rooms but the room was next to the kitchen/restaurant and was even noisier. This did not affect our 3 night stay too much.
The property is in a good location if you want to be away from the central busy area. We enjoyed the walk into the main part of town which was about 20 mins. The hotel provides a shuttle to the beach but it was every 2 hours. The hotel itself is situated in a hilly area so there are a lot of steps. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. There is a golf buggy to take you up to the main part of the hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially the ladies on reception. The breakfast was good with a good variety everyday. The views were incredible, the best of any hotel I have stayed in. Rooms were clean and of a good size. Large bathroom with bath and lovely hot powerful shower.

We had the spa bath on the balcony room top floor so the views looking out to mountains were amazing. The hotel grounds were beautiful, clean and well maintained. Lovely large pools. Quiet area, free shuttle to the beach or a 10-15 minute walk. Beds were very comfortable and loved the pillows apart from the husband snoring, slept very well.

Beautiful hotel and our villa was really very nice. The pool was fantastic, breakfast was great with lots of choice and all the staff were super friendly. The shuttle bus down to Ao Nang beach was perfect and we used it lots. Overall we loved staying at the Phu Pi Maan and would highly recommend it

United KingdomOnly downside is that around the pool area there were plates/drinks left outside for quite a while which naturally attracts ants etc so think this area should be checked more regularly
We had a pool access room and the views were absolutely incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and a good variety of choice. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely return.

SwitzerlandIt’s kind of boutique hotel concept. Don’t know why, but the pictures on Booking are way worse than in real life - when you arrive, it’s definitely exceeding expectations! We’ve been looking around in Krabi for other stays - for sure it’s the best option!! Incredible territory, nice quiet location though not far from all central places, the pools are all with picturesque views, staff is good, rooms are clean and in good conditions..the hotel is exactly how you imagine vacation in Thailand!!

United KingdomFabulous resort set in a beautiful tropical garden, the staff are super friendly and very helpful, delicious food in the restaurant , the ladies working at the restaurant are so kind, reception staff also always happy to help, overall we had a great stay, felt very welcome. The resort has a very peaceful ambience, perfect place to relax as everyone is so respectful, there are no loud parties or screaming children, just peaceful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. We stayed in a premium villa which was gorgeous , other members of our family stayed in a beautiful large apartment in the building on the hill with breathtaking views. We walked to the beach a few times which wasn’t a problem, nice stroll along the main walking street (around 15 mins). The resort provided free shuttle service to the beach which we have used several times as well, it’s a short 5 mins drive.

Of my two weeks in Thailand, 3 nights each spot, sadly I only had 2 here and it was by far my favorite stay. The room was amazing, location AMAZING. I was solo so didn’t want to be in the crazy high rise part of Bangkok, enjoyed all the amazing restaurants nearby, the best food I have had in the last 2 weeks by farrrr were the little restaurants a stone throw from chillax. Also right by the canal with plenty. I was so sad to check out and no other hotel I stayed at matched it. I can’t recommend it enough & will be coming back next time I am in Thailand for sure. I stayed in the basic room and it was WAY nicer in person than photos, I did not want to leave.
