Only minor downside is the deluxe room balcony was really small. Chairs in room too big to move onto it. Otherwise it is a great place

Wifi was a bit clumsy with different logins and passwords and connection was a bit slow.

One member of the staff on the desk was somewhat abrupt. Everyone else was nice but it only takes one rude and inconsiderate member of staff to make people feel underwhelmed. It’s a pity because as far as I can see it’s a very well run and good value hotel

At this price point it met every expectation. If you want 5*, go elsewhere and pay more. If you want a clean, homey hotel then Raming is a suitable choice. We’ll be back soon.

Breakfast was quite adequate. Deluxe room was large and had excellent lighting.Bathroom was renovated to a good standard and water pressure was strong. Bed was very comfortable and bed linen and towels were new and clean. Staff are lovely and keen to help but English is limited. Hotel has a lift so it’s suitable for older guests. Location is the big selling point for this hotel. It’s close to various markets and you can walk to most places of interest. Price is reasonable and free airport pick up and drop off are a bonus.

The noise fron taxi tank directly out front of hotel. We got woken at 4am by the drivers all talking and laughing to each other very loudly.

The building is a bit tired but at least it survived Covid! It is super clean and well maintained. The mattress is a bit harder than Westerners like but we got used to it and wouldn't say it was uncomfortable.

Excellent customer service from airport pick up to airport drop off. Lovely ambience of a small Thai hotel. Great super clean pool. Perfect breakfast, not too much but good western options plus daily Thai options, fruit, salad, juice, cereal ... late check out was super cheap at 100Thb per hour. We'll located, only a short walk to the night bazaar and Sunday night markets and the old city with plenty of tuk tuks and taxis around.

Honestly, one of the people on the Fein t desk was very off putting. I have no idea why. If the attitude doesn’t bother you then the place is absolutely fine.

This is an excellent location for seeing the city.

The attitude of one particular woman at the desk was worse than Basil Faulty. I can’t comment on why this person was so unpleasant and unhelpful. Who can know what is going on in someone else’s mind. But we were a group and she managed to offend quite a few people. It’s a shame because otherwise the stay was very nice.

Excellent location between the night market and the old town. Perfect for people who walk everywhere. Nice cafe serving excellent coffee and croissants at the front of the hotel.
