Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyKhaosan road is the party place of the city: if you don't like to be harassed by street vendors and loud music, don't stay there. Despite the loud noise, my first room (505, 5th floor, not facing Khaosan Road) was very quiet. In room 3012 (3rd floor, facing Khaosan Road), it was impossible to sleep.
I stayed at two different rooms: 505 and 3012. Both were reasonably clean and spacious enough. The bed was comfortable, and the aircon worked well. There was a small desk to use my laptop. The wifi was fine. The staff is alright. The location is right on Khaosan road, one of the nightlife spots of the city, and only 15-20 minutes by foot from the Grand Palace. There are some convenience stores and many bars and restaurants nearby, but the cuisine is not the best because they are aimed at backpackers.

TurkeyThe room itself was sooo small. We hardly fit in that small room. No cupboard to hang your clothes, only wall hanger. The bed was too big for this small room.
It was right on Khason Road, but surprisingly we were sleeping so well at nights. The sound of night clubs weren’t coming to the room, well insulated. Big bathroom, very clean. The tour agent at the entrance of the hotel is giving very good discounts to the hotel guests. If you are thinking to go to Floating Market & Train Market tours, the lady gave us 650 baht/person where as the others were giving 1150 baht and above! The bed was so comfortable! There is even a small pool at the roof, but this still very nice to have in the middle of the city!

GermanyStaff is not very friendly. You don’t really feel welcome. They do have to deal with a lot of wild tourists so that may be a reason, but still. Also - I had to leave a deposit for the room - either passport or 1000 baht which I found extremely weird as it was not written anywhere before.
The place is new and beautiful. Beds are comfortable, you have water and instant coffee and a water cooker in the room. I asked to get a room out back due to other reviews about the noise and I stayed there during Songkran so I assume it’s even louder than usual, but slept completely fine as the room in the back was quiet.

AustraliaThe location to Khaosan road was brilliant. The room was quiet even on Friday and Saturday night when the parties were raging on Khaosan road. All staff were professional and friendly. Always happy to help. We made use of the cloak room on the last day, which allowed us to enjoy our last hours in Bangkok before collecting our bags for the airport. It really was a great spot! And the roof top pool had a superb view.

United Kingdom1. The noise - but we get it- it’s right on the koh San road! It’s going to be a bit noisy. 2. No view at all - or balcony. But we get this too- it’s not possible for every room to have a window with a view. We loved this as a base on the koh Sam road. Thank you
Everything (locations, ease of airport transfer/ booking trips, proximity to great food and bars, friendliness/ helpfulness of staff, comfy beds, plenty of towels and water plus the pool is a real bonus. Only 2 things could make it better…see below

MalaysiaAmazing location, right smack on khaosan road. No worries abt finding your way back after getting sloshed. Neat, clean place. We asked for quiet room, was given the furthest away from the street. Definitely was quiet, but the room was very small. Small price to pay I guess

United KingdomJust a minor thing, Have to pay a deposit of 1000 Thai Baht which is about 20 Pound, hadn’t had this at other hotels whilst in south east Asia. It was our last night in Bangkok and stayed there as a basis before flight back to the uk, only got so much Baht out, so once received deposit back could use some of it for taxi to airport.

IndiaIt had no balcony. And the window was so small and placed in such a direction that we cannot open it and even if we wanted to open it we couldn't cuz it had no net and the chances of pigeons coming in the room were high.
Everything was great except the fact that the room was too small, congested and compact.. it was a Little suffocating.
