Tom was such an amazing host. He helped with all our questions and made of feel like home. The location is a bit away from the main town but the beach at the hotel is amazing. Only 3 minutes walking and you’re at a super private and beautiful beach. Loved the stay!

Everything was perfect, the location, the accommodation and the host! Not situated in the most touristic part of the isle, but the atmosphere couldn't have been any better... The chalet was just as nice as in the pictures, the private pool perfect to relax all day long and the beach just a 2min walk away. Special mention for Tom, who was the best host possible!

Thong nai pan yaai is a more quiet, beautiful location with plenty of amenities nearby. The chalet was simply perfect, clean with a nice plunge pool. The staff was exceptional and easy going. I would love to come back to this place some day.

Absolutely perfect location and Tom couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were great and the plunge pool was perfect after a day on the beach. Resort was clean and we made friends with the resident dog.

The bed is one is the harder ones I've slept on in Thailand and for me personally it was not comfortable. The window frames all have gaps in and around them (they just don't close very well.) And that's fine.. but the beds should have mosquito nets over them when that's the case.

The whole place is secluded and very close (2 minutes walk) to a beautiful beach. The dip pool is so nice to have and I really like the little patio with the hammock. Lots of thoughtful things about this place. Welcome drinks in the fridge. Toiletries, beach bag with mats, umbrella incase it rains, safety deposit box. It's a great get away if you're looking to be by the best beach on the island and not really do a lot. You will need a scooter or a car though. Super friendly staff. Excellent laundry service. Drag water every day.

The garden really needed some maintenance, all the hedges and grass was over grown. Maybe the garden is only trimmed back at certain points in the year,, however the garden is the selling point to this accommodation and would have been much much nicer if it was not over grown. That's all :)

The bed was hard, but this is pretty standard in Thailand. But there were plenty of pillows that helped!

Amazing property, and staff were so helpful. Everything could be arranged for you by Tom, and he even has great suggestions around the town and around the island for you. The beach is very close by, and beautiful with lots of restaurant choices. Property was spacious and clean, and the plunge pool was great to cool off in whenever you needed.

Drive in entrance road really needs to be resealed, quite a surprisingly eye sore. Had issue with the bathroom where draining the bathroom caused the shower and bathroom drain to backflow (this introduced some sewerage into the bathroom floor). No toilet paper allowed in toilet, this indicates that the plumbing needs attention.

Awesome little private pool (unheated). Room was very clean throughout and attention to detail is good. Lots of privacy in my self-contained unit. Nice places to eat and get food nearby. Friendly locals in the area.

Tom is INCREDIBLE. He made us a tour of Koh Phangan showing us the best of the island. He arranged a transfer to our next destination. He will help you with everything. The room is spacious and we had a welcome minibar, beach games, beach towels, all at your disposal. We loved our little pool. The beach is 2-3 minutes walking, where you have some restaurants. We recommend Flip Flop Pharmacy BAR, they have delivery to your room. If we return to Koh Phangan, we will definitely return to The Great Escape. We are delighted. Highly recommended!

The village is very small and calm. But that is something one knows prior to booking.

Close to the beach. Tom will help you with anything you may need. Top host. There’s a welcome minibar waiting in the fridge and beach games and umbrellas etc waiting for you.

The property is in a quiet area of Koh Phangan, so if you like that this is definitely a perfect stay. The room is spacious and if you want they clean every day. The beach is 2 minutes walking, there is also the other close by beach Thong Nai Pan Noi (5 min by scooter, 20 min walk) which is beautiful. The owner helps with your questions and he arranged a transfer to our next destination. You can also rent scooters at the place for a very affordable price. Breakfast is really nice at the place Ram & Pha in the street, nice pancakes, fresh fruit and other good options for a very good price!

Not many shops around, but it's quiet for this reason as well.

Loved the little pool and the fact that it was so well surrounded by all sorts of plants, nothing beats a private swim after a day under the sun:) the room is comfortable and clean and the place is just two minutes walk from the beach.

Location was brilliant, short walk from the beach which is just breathtaking. Loved having our own little space or privacy. The plunge pool was brilliant and just what we needed to cool off. Beach has lots of restaurants which all serve amazing food. We couldn’t fault the place. Our host was great and sorted out everything for us from activities to transfer to our next location.

The room is very well equipped. It has free drinks, and they give new waters everyday. It has everything you need for mosquitoes. They also have stuff for the beach, like a frisbee and rackets. The outside area is perfect to chill. Sad that we only stayed here for 3 nights instead of 5

Quite far from Thon Sala pier. Driving there might be demanding.

Very nice accommodation. Pleasant and willing landlord. Without breakfast option, however a few meters from hotel locals provide wide selection of meals for fair prices. Motobike rental is available. Good beach situated 2 minutes walking. The beach is not affected by low tide as much as other beaches in the island (Summer). There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the beach. Amazing 2C bar with view. Must visit.

I loved everything about the place. The staff who was managing the place was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. This place is quite far from the full moon party area, so if you love nature and prefer a place where you can unwind, this is the perfect place. Oh, and it is only 2 minutes away from the beach... the neighbours are very friendly as well.
