Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaHonestly, there’s not much I didn’t like about this property. The location is a bit away from all of the happenings in the city. However, I didn’t mind that at all because it was an easy taxi ride to get to those areas. It was refreshing to get away from at the end of the day and night to escape to peace, quiet, and tranquility.
I absolutely loved the vibe of this resort. The staff take pride in their establishment and go above and beyond to make sure that guests have everything they need during their stay in Chiang Mai.

United States of AmericaOur family really enjoyed our stay here- the staff was so friendly and helped make our vacation as easy as possible- everything from booking us transportation and activities as needed to welcoming us to and from the resort each day. We were 15 min from downtown Chiang Mai, which was close enough the get to the city but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet here. The staff felt like family by the end of our stay- we loved it and will stay here again.

Staff:Their warm hospitality really impressed me.I’ve been to Thailand four times and they’re the most warm&friendly staff I’ve ever met! Room: I love the layout of this small villa, sleep, work, dressing, toilet…each section has independent space.the traditional style decoration is simple but homely, reminds me of my childood home.the room is very clean,I walk barefoot in room everyday and there were no dust under my feet.Breakfast:the food was okay, but it’s wonderfully pleasing to enjoy the breakfast right next to the garden and pond in the beautiful morning, they also gave me some toast to feed the fish*^_^* Location:it located in a quiet neighborhood,a little far from the downtown.but it doesn’t annoying at all cuz during our two days stay,it’s always easy and quick to get a taxi on app(we used inDrive btw).Me and my bf had a wonderful stay there,I wish we could stay longer.Next time I come to Chiang Mai, I will definitely choose this resort again(^ν^)

ItalyIt would be excellent if the kitchen staff could cook western food with the western taste. Also, I would suggest the cleaning staff to check on some hidden spots which needed to be cleaned for an improvement. Overall, I would love to come back to this resort again!!
The service is over the top. They would do anything as your requests. The breakfast is great and abundant. You can ask for hiring a van and they can organise trips for you depending on your interests, especially when it comes to travelling with small children. All staff are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help you out with an excellent service mind. The resort is peaceful and quiet, therefore, you get to relax and have a full privacy.

MalaysiaInitially I had no idea where we were in location to restuarents, shopping and activities. But we quickly resolved this and found our way around with ease. For instance the street markets are only several minutes away.
The resort is located in a pleasant and friendly village adjacent to a small temple with easy access to the city via grab. The small number of villas are set in lovely gardens with the swimming pool a few paces away. Extremely spacious rooms with a verandah at the front and back. The rooms were well appointed and kept clean and tidy at all times. The resort is child friendly with a nice playground in a grassy area and lots of toys and books available for for kiddies use at all times..Simple and delicious food served in the restaurant. Above all the extremely friendly and helpful owners and the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Location just a short distance outside old city meant it was a lovely oasis for a relaxing holiday but easy to get where we wanted to go. Nat and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful and made everything a breeze. A very special place to stay.

Czech RepublicHaving been four times in Thailand, this was my best accomodation. I stayed here together with my wife and 20-month-old son while working on a project at Chiang Mai University and it was the most magical experience! Originally, we planned to stay only for 5 nights to recover from jet lag and then move to a rented flat but we fell in love with the place and eventually stayed for the whole month. The accomodation is provided in several villas located in a tropical garden with two swimming pools and a pond with a little waterfall. It is a family-run resort, which makes it so much more personal than other places we've been to. Mrs Nat, her relatives and all the staff made us feel like at home making sure that we had everything we needed. The playground has lots of swings and slides and there are many cars and other toys for kids to enjoy. Still the well-designed garden gives you enough privacy so the place is also suitable for anyone seeking calm and relaxing environment. The restaurant provides home-cooked food made from fresh ingredients and they always make sure to recommend some Thai specialities for you to try. I also appreciated all the information and tips for getting around and enjoying Chiang Mai. Overall, we have never experienced this level of care and genuine kindness. I can't be more grateful to Mrs Nat for all the help in the times when my son was sick or I had to leave for a business trip to Bangkok. She even arranged an experienced babysitter from their staff, Da, who my son absolutely adored. When leaving, we already felt like part of the family! We'll definitely book again next time we are in Chiang Mai if the place is free.
