Loved staying here. Pure luxury in a jungle like setting. Excellent facilities - good shower, very comfortable bed, great air con and fan (needed!) and mosquito net with kettle and fridge (again, needed!). Wish I could have stayed longer. Staff also very helpful and friendly.

The beach in this part of the island is very shallow, so it's almost impossible to swim, unless you catch the full high tide. In low tide, you could walk out 100m and still be only ankle deep.

Lovely and quiet, with a laid-back vibe. The restaurant is THE happening place in the evening - be assured!

The following is qualified as it is written by my inner old curmudgeon ! (ha) - the very popular Alcove restaurant is across the street - fantastic food and drink, fire shows on the beach. it can be a source of motorbike and car parking confusion and loud music up to closing time. I got over myself and fell asleeep very easily every night.

my 2nd or 3rd return to Alcove bungalows . the bungalows are always clean and comfortable - fridge, coffee service, nice soap and shampoo in bathroom….. and with tasteful decoration, paint colors and lighting. I feel like I am in the movie ‘Moulin Rouge’. the 7 bungalows are lined up vertical to the sea, across the street. nice shaded garden views.

There was one little awkward situation with a big cockroach in the bathroom at night, but really this place is sooo beautiful :)))

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The rooms were comfortable. The information and tips about Koh Phangan in the room were very helpful and well thought out. But the highlight was the restaurant section that starts at 6. Fantastic ambiance, delicious food, great music, and wonderful wine. What more could you ask for?

The vibe of the bungalow-spot and the restaurant is very nice! Thailand meets Moulin Rouge. At night the restaurant is always busy and has a great atmosphere, live music etc.

Nothing, it was perfect!

This stay here has been amazing, the most comfy rooms to come back to after long hot days seeing the beautiful island! Everything I asked for was taken care of for me. I can not thank Sakura and the team of workers enough for their attention to detail and commitment to the guests! I will definitely book here again when I return! Very very happy, Great job guys!!!!

Incredible value for money. Was a very luxurious stay. I got a free upgrade. Room was spotless and comfortable bed, lovely white sheets, balcony and hammock was lovely, their bar on beach is perfect for sunset and fun vibe. I had a very relaxing and happy time. I can’t wait to come back.
