Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by beautiful plants, and feels like you are in an oasis. If you are looking for a quiet place for your vacancy you don't need to look further. The Pool is amazing But if you like a bit more action by the pool, with music and etc that's not the place for you, is very quiet. the staff is extremely friendly and ready to help. The location Is great, only a few minutes from the night bazaar where you can go for a delicious meal and shopping.

Luxembourgthe bar by the (very beautiful) pool closes (or closed) at 15:30, and then you had to get drinks outside of the hotel and bring them back to the pool. that was the only odd bit.
the family suite with two bedrooms - one including a sitting room - was truly nice. good beds, clean sheets, very large and beautiful bathroom with whirlpool jacuzzi and shower. one of the night markets - with good dining - is lose by at walking distance. the pool, and garden, and the entire structures are picturesque, and build and maintained with much care. Very, very stylish place. and the entire place, though in town, is tucked away down an alley, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The place is really quiet.

United KingdomNothing except that the staff in the dining area was so miserable that we had a laugh about it. The rest of the staff in the hotel were great.
The hotel was perfect and you didn't feel as if you were in a city. Perfect pool with plenty of sunbeds to relax on. Loved the greenery

United KingdomThe balcony was lovely but very traditional with a seat at each end and no table so not the best place to relax with a beer, however there were plenty tables near the pool which we could sit at. 20 minute walk to the old town.
Lovely, as previously mentioned numerous times it was like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Very close to the night market for a great choice of cheap food and drink.

United KingdomThis is a minor point but the bar does close at 4pm. Not really a problem as there is a bar right next to the entrance and loads of others nearby.
It really is a little oasis, with lots of lush planting and character. Rooms are a lovely size and very comfortable. We loved the balcony seating area too. Pool also very clean and plenty of space to sit around it. Very close to the night markets for food and drinks in the evening. Staff were lovely too.

New ZealandWe arrived at the hotel and after ordering a double/twin room which we booked 6 months ago we were taken to a twin room at the back of the hotel. We were not happy and was told that there were no double rooms available, I told them I booked our room 6 months ago and I expected a double room. After a couple of phone calls to reception they did manage to find us a double room.
Our room was great, very big, bathroom was great. The room was cleaned daily and the staff did an excellent job. We would quite often go to the pool after breakfast for a couple of hours and by the time we returned to the room it had been cleaned. Breakfast was great with tables outside and inside so you never had to look for a table. Order to cook egg station was very good and quick. Lots of noodles and rice dishes, fresh fruit, and breads. No bacon which I love with breakfast, but hey, we didn't need bacon. Staff was excellent, very friendly, and seemed to know your room number very quickly. The gardens that surround the hotel are beautiful, especially the large Banyon tree. The pool is great with plenty of deck chairs and very quiet, a great place to sit and relax and read a book in the sun. The Yaang Come Village Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the night markets, which I think are the best markets in Chiang Mai. Great shopping, great food halls with great, cheap food. We went to the markets every night and had dinner and the variety of food you could get is unbelievable and so tasty and so cheap. I would recommend the Yaang Home Village Hotel to anyone wanting a great hotel.

AustraliaHot water took along time to come thru the pipes & luke warm.
Presentation of Village on arrival, was OH wow! My room was towards the back so it was lovely & quiet looking out over gardens. Breakfast was easy for me to choose the foods that I could eat, looking out over the pool, which was delightful for a cool off in the early evening.

FranceAlthough there are nets at the window, I still had mosquitoes in the room at night. It would be useful to provide some mosquito device in the room. The ground floor rooms can be dark, but that wasn’t a big problem for me because it was nice and cool during the hot days.
I loved the outdoor space. The hotel is in the middle of the city, close to the hustle and bustle, but entering its premises feels like going through a portal and landing in the most natural and serene place. A massive Yaang tree, lots of flowers, amazing smells, birds chirping, squirrels chasing on the rooftops. I could hardly motivate myself to go out.
