It could use a little bit of updating. One of the rooms situated at the end of the hallway, the light timer went off too fast. Need to compete with the lights. My heater isn’t working too well. Breakfast is the same daily even it is good.

The location is closed to the taxi stand and easily found restaurants, groceries & park down the street. Restaurants are cheaper.

Sound insulation is awful. The conversation in the next room, the sound of the TV can be heard in the room where you are staying. The hotel staff does not control the noise on the floors. At 3 o'clock at night , we personally asked the newly settled guests in the next room to be quiet. I had to call the reception once about it. There was no any changes. The pillows in the room have reached the end of their life. I had to call the front desk 4 times for a pillow. Every time, I heard excuses like we are telling the employee now and they will bring it. On my 3rd call, they said that they probably couldn't find a new pillow. If we can't find it in 5 minutes, we will call you back and tell you. Still no caller. On my 4th call, new pillows were delivered 3 minutes after I told them that I would not need a new pillow and that I would inform the hotel manager about it in the morning.

The cleanliness in the hotel was at the highest level. All the food in the breakfast was hearty and very fresh.

The food at the bar is awful. As the food at the breakfast. No coffee machine at the breakfast, just an instant coffee.

Great interior, great location, the spa is good. The hotel is a bit old and shabby, but everything works and we were ok with that.

I didn’t like that employees were not helpful when we leave the hotel , they didn’t help us with luggages at all , we were 3 girls and they saw us carrying them but they didn’t help . Also the hotel lacks crew , one person do everything.

In general I like the hotel and the location is perfect, breakfast is good and fresh . One of the guys know English which was easy for us . It’s also clean.

I placed one simple room service order from the restaurant on my last night, & it was screwed up. I didn’t bother fussing with the delivery guy because the kitchen had already closed & it wasn’t his fault.

Perfect location in Kavaklidere district, surrounded by pubs, eating establishments, coffee houses & ATM’s. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Quick & easy check-in & check-out, complimentary bottled water, big room with excellent shower facilities.

The only thing is that the laundry was quite expensive. Also keycard stopped working several times, but easy to recharge it on the reception, so it's minor :)

Helpful staff, quite location and good sound isolation. Really nice lounge area, breakfast area and bar. Buffet breakfast, all dishes are tasty, ok diversity. Also the internet speed and quality was pretty good. Room was pretty small, but everything required was in place.

General problem in Turkey and in hotels is that few people speak English.

Gordion Hotel is excellent place for travellers. Relatively central location, not far away from main tourist attractions. Breakfast is on top floor terrace with city views. Scottish pub in an underground floor.

there was a cigarette smoke smell in my room when I arrived but it went away after few hours.

The hotel atmosphere was very great, i liked the design of the hotel and the fact it's a historical hotel, my room was so comfy, the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly with us, the check in process was so smooth, some of the front desk staff speaks very good English which is a huge plus, the cleanliness is good everywhere in the hotel.
