Only issue I faced was the AC not working, but staff responded straight away and changed our room for us.

Location was very good and central to tram train boat and eating places. Breakfast was reasonable could have more variety but still nice. Hotel staff were very good helpful and spoke English.

Swimming pool is quite small and we were constantly reminded ( even scolded!) that we should be quite ( that is quite hard with 6 y.o. child, who by the way chose this hotel just because of the presence of swimming pool). You should post in the description of the hotel, that those who are using swimming pool should know that the priority is for guests of Spa, not to the guests of the hotel!

Amazing front desk staff, I would say the best staff that I met in Turkey so far, they literally adressed all our tiny issues, and were very hospitable. The food is good, with a lot of vegetables and greens. Location is in the heart of historical part of Istanbul, and also near the Metro & rail road station. Rooms were clean and cozy.

Localisation is great,around 30m away of Sirkeci metro station. Many restaurants,shisha bars,shops and off-licence around. Easy access to buses and trams. Great view from window to Bosphorus,Galata Tower,mosques and a huge warship.

Same breakfast every day , the omelette was paid for, also the battled water, in the room no garbage basket only in the bathroom and no hot water pots in the room also.Time for using the pool and sona is 12 noon until 6 which it is not a good time to be in the hotel.

terrace should have had more chairs and tables as shown on brochures. A standard electric kettle is not supplied as well as a simple iron was not in the rooms.

I had to ask couple of times for the mattress to be changed, also when we went down to have breakfast there was no available table for us. Asked for a taxi service, Hotel wasn't able to secure it.

We spent four nights here, this is my 2nd time at Askoc Hotel I love it for it's location most city tour points are close by. Good for leisure or business traveler on budget.

the staff are all so welcoming especially the guys at the restaurant (Eyip, Ege, and Mert). the room was cleaned daily with no bother. the most important thing is that the hotel is at a calm place near to metro and tramway station with lots of touristic places and restaurants beside.
