Awesome hostel. Great atmosphere. Easy to meet new people. And amazingly kind staff. They made me feel incredibly welcome. And the breakfast in the morning was simply just incredible!!! The hostel is definitely very party-oriented so those who aren't interested in that scene might want to avoid here.

Breakfast was a nice time to meet other travellers. Served between 9 and 11, this is when people especially solo travellers met and made plans to travel together. The highlight of this hostel is Zaman, the golden retriever. He is a very good boy.

The hostel is fantastic, I had a wonderful time! Perfect location close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, great social vibe and perfect for solo travellers. Also, the people working there are super nice and helpful - thanks again Osman for your help when my friend had a little accident! :D I will definitely come back when I am in Istanbul! Would highly recommend!

I can fully recommend the cheers hostel. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The rooms are neat and cleaned at least once a day. If you travel alone you'll definitely make some friends since they organise a lot of activities (pub crawls, dinners, boat tour,...) and you'll always find someone to drink a beer with at the bar ! The location of the hostel itself at 5 min of hagia sofia is excellent

There is no ventilation in the bathroom /shower as a result when someone is using it is getting super humid and impossible for the other person to use exactly after .

If you stay here, keep in mind that it is a party hostel and there will be nights out of the week when people are dancing/singing at the rooftop bar and you will be able to hear it in your room (depending on how close you are to the bar). The music usually stops around midnight during the week, but something to keep in mind. Also, there are no elevators and you will need to take the stairs up if you are on an upper floor or would like to go to the bar.

The breakfast is one of the best hostel breakfasts I've ever had (get the quinoa and feta cheese! And don't forget the Turkish tea). One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hostel. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, so there was a bathroom available somewhere in the hostel and I didn't have issues of waiting for one. The manager and staff members are fun and light-hearted, we had some great laughs! I've traveled in hostels around the world, and Cheers Hostel is one of my favorites!
