The breakfast can be updated with some more items since I stayed for 10 days and could hardly find new items.

The reception guy 'Mahmut' is gem of a person, always ready to help and very professional in what ever information you need about the tourist places. They clean rooms everyday, very helpfull staff. Excellent location, walking distance to Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia and Tramway as well.

Just that our room was smaller than expected. Shower/bath (high) difficult to get in and out without a hand rail.

The staff were great. Our twin room was smaller than we anticipated but it was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff accommodating.

Bathroom. Especially The in bathroom (so called) small bath tub was too high to climb in and out. Always a fear of slipping.

Rooms were clean and functional, cleaned and fresh towels every day if required, WiFi fast, breakfast varied and plentiful self service buffet served in roof top restaurant, roof terrace with fabulous views, easy walk to all main Sultanahmet sites, short walk to tram, staff welcoming and most helpful

The toilet water tank was broken. A bit noisy in the room because of poor insulation, but when you're tired from your day excursions it's not a problem)))

The view of the blue mosque from our room was so beautiful. Very convenient location to the many famous places. Breakfast was amazing with a great view of the city and the sea.

Please don't allow other customer who wake up late to booked table for breakfast. If breakfast time started from 7.30 am to 10.30 am, please let your customer enjoy their breakfast. My experience, the waiter already booked the table for other customer who not yet coming and the waiter also ask me and my child to eat fast because he want to give our table to other customer. He keep repeating saying, 'this is not ok' to me and my child.

This is the second booking i did in Hotel Fehmi Bey. First booking, i booked 3 rooms for my family and my relatives. The most i like is the location and the menu for breakfast. I really enjoy all the turkish menu that serves on breakfast. The three persons who duty at front desk, i forgot their name. They are really helpful, guide me when i ask the location and provide what i need. Really appreciate it. Three of you did a great job. I try to booked for the third time, but not successful. Maybe booking.com not allowed me to booked at very short time period at your hotel. But, i really like to stay at Hotel Fehmi Bey. So, i need to stay at other place. I, my family and my relatives also really enjoy the scenery during our breakfast and the music. I have experience staying in other hotels in Sultanahmet area. But, Hotel Fehmi Bey is one of the best.

My TV didn't work, but I wouldn't have understood what was happening anyway, so this wasn't an issue. The fridge could have kept things a little cooler, I wouldn't store food there much longer than you would at room temperature.

In an otherwise let's say not great trip to istanbul, hotel Fehmi Bey was an absolute bright spot. Breakfast on the roof was fantastic, and on quiet days I spent hours having coffee and looking over the sea of Marmara. Breakfast does get a little busy when it's cold/rainy, as most of the space is outdoors, get there early! Staff was kind and attentive. Rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Get room 411 if you can, it's right next to breakfast, has a great view, and is away from the noise of the street. The Internet is kinda slow, and you have to keep entering your passport number, but this is true seemingly for the whole nation.

Top class staff. Extremely nice and helpful. Basic but clean room. Very good variety of food for breakfast. Close to public transport, restaurants, markets. Fully recommended.
