The rooms were in need of a little maintenance and touching up. A little old and worn in places. Only one pillow was provided per person. I’m sure they would have given another if we had asked but there should have been two each to begin with.

Good staff and reception area was nice. Breakfast was amazing both the venue and the food, we were not expecting it to be that good. Spacious rooms, quick check in and check out.

tv was my age, no smart functions, no channels either, only three turkish i think, the bathroom door for the shower was broken, but i managed to fix it myself.

Despite the room service brochure in the room, there was no room service available and to get any food you would have to go outside to the nearest restaurant by yourself. The restaurants that are located in the hotel were not operating at 3 pm for some reason.

The staff was very friendly! We were able to leave our baggages after the check out and visit the whole day without carrying them around. The hotel is very close to the Esenler Otogarı (one of the main bus stations in Istanbul).

If the windows of the room overlook a street busy with cars, then this is not entirely comfortable

I would like to note the level of service of the hotel staff. Of course the rooms are kept clean. Good breakfast and other conditions that a hotel of this level should meet. But first of all, we really liked the manager at the reception desk, Mr. Turgut. This is a person who not only provides a high level of service. Which is his job. However. he has good knowledge not only of interesting places in Istanbul or the nature of Turkey. He also has a serious understanding of politics. I had the pleasure of discussing the work of his namesake, President of Turkey, Mr. Turgut Ozal, in the 1980s. During this period, I worked at the Iskenderun Metallurgical Plant in the representative office of the Russian association Tyazhpromexport. Now I will recommend this hotel to everyone, especially for Russian travelers, since the central Bayrampasa bus station is nearby, from which buses go to Bulgaria, where they have their apartments.

Breakfast was very good Especially the variety of Turkish cheeses and the taste of various coffees. Fortunately, Grand S Hotel was very close to the M1 metro line (senler station).
