Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusIn the standard room, (cheapest room) they can make a little renovation so the shower can actually work without floating the room. I knew the shower was like that but didn't expect to have a floating. personally, this is the only negative point I found for the establishment. I certainly can revisit but not choose the standard room next time unless they make a small renovation. With only one negative point I strongly recommend this place if you like to visit the city center.
Location was very perfect for walking to marina and shopping center. Staff was always helpful and smiling. Traditional breakfast was also nice to have in the morning.

An amazing 500 year old home with charactor and so much charm. Also hosted by a lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay very comfortable and truley amaizing. There is a great antique shop just up the road, so if interested, just ask the family for directions.

The breakfast was so delicious made my Maria herself. The garden and everything about this place is just beautiful. Perfect location too. I will be staying here again for sure 10/10 for this place ♥️

Germany- Due to the fact that this is an old stone building, I could hear the couple below my room talking late at night, and very clearly so. Since I knew they probably weren't aware of it, I simply went down and told them, I was lucky, problem solved. - In the high season it might be difficult finding parking right in front of the hotel
- Very cutely decorated rooms - Incredibly extensive and delicious breakfast in the backyard - Very kind staff - Very interesting library - Very good location downtown, just 5 minutes by foot to the water and main street (far enough to be away from the noise but close enough for all the action) - Parking area just 50 meters down the street towards the sea - I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again myself too!

TurkeySince the room was 3-floored, the AC didn't cool up as much. But I like to sleep a bit warmer anyway, so I did fine.
A unique, beautiful old stone house, surprisingly chill and calm amid the vibrant nightlife of Bodrum city. You get an amazing, super fresh breakfast under the satsuma trees. I wished that I have a bigger stomach, everything was sooo tasty:) Our room was very special with interesting details in old Turkish style, wooden floors and high ceiling, definitely worth seeing. We stayed at the big suite with 3-floor, and felt like king and queen in the old times. In the evening, the garden turns into a speakeasy bar with fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend if you're after a secret, cozy place with surprising tastes, great music and vibe. If you're a cat lover, then it would be even more heavenly for you! We socialized a lot with their cute cats while sipping the cocktails.

SpainOne bad experience with the bar man. He was rude when I first met him, then completely ignored me the second time I sat in the bar area. I guess he doesn’t like Brits. Everyone else was amazing, particularly Marina who looked after us so well. That’s the only reason I gave a 4 for the staff.

United Arab Emiratesthe shower and bathroom in our rooms was very small, but this is an old house converted into a hotel, so this is expected.
Very unique hotel in a 500 year old family home, the rooms are tiny but very cute and cozy, like staying in your grandma’s village house. The hotel is close to everything but on a quite street, so there’s tranquility and good night sleep is guaranteed. There’s an amazing speakeasy bar with great cocktails in the garden of the property, we enjoyed it for both nights of our stay. breakfast is very homey and they serve it the garden under the fruit trees. Very authentic experience.

AustraliaThe air con in the room was not super effective, however the windows opened which cooled down the room slightly.
The furnishings and decoration in the room were so unique. Beautiful gardens to relax away from the lively streets of Bodrum. Breakfast was full table service enjoyed in the lovely garden. All staff in this family run business were a delight to deal with.
