The weather as very hot, and the air condition they have could not handle the very hot weather. So, from time to time the air-condition will stop and we had to ask the reception to turn it on.

Location is amazing, Staff is very polite, Breakfast is good (not very big, but sufficient for a good start for the day). I recommend that you stay here.

The air conditioner is bad, and the reason why I couldn't give the place 9/10. One A/C outdoor unit serves the indoor units of the whole floor, and it's poorly sized, ending up with each indoor unit operating on a schedule where you get cold air for a few minutes and then just a running fan for a while, and then cold air again for a few minutes. On top of that, the outdoor unit keeps malfunctioning and needing a restart, and sometimes the circuit breaker trips too. Other than that, some of the furniture is old and needs repair or replacement.

I would definitely stay here again if I visit again during milder weather conditions. Great staff, great location, good breakfast, comfortable beds, clean and the room is regularly cleaned and made up, water pressure is good but fluctuating but still good, good mini fridge. The hotel provides help with booking airport transfer through the hotel and it was extremely comfortable and on time, and gives you the peace of mind to book it and forget it.

The rooms could've been bigger. There was no space on the floor to lay my suitcase open, so I had to do it on the bed which I prefer not to do because the suitcase was quite dirty.. The walls are rather thin. At night, one could hear someone flushing the toilet in the other room.

The breakfast was great, there were lots of options to choose from and it changed every day. There were also almost no other people besides my family at the breakfast. We had it from 9:30 to 10:30. The staff was just AMAZING. Very friendly and new English really well. They arranged a taxi for us a few times and that service was also great. Great location - we walked everywhere!

rooms runed but renovation was about to start. I belive it will be more luxary after renovation. Room should’ve been more lighter than now.

It was my second stay in hotel. Staff were warm and helpful. It is just a few mins walk to tram and metro station, within walking distance to a number of tourist sights. The hotel is located towards the end of restaurant street so you are near to all the action but still enjoy quiet and proper rest in the hotel. Getting there was a bit of a nightmare but head for Gülhane on Tram T1 and, if early morning or late at night, get a taxi (as it will take 25% of the time of public transport)

Although I have zero complaints, I suppose something that could make the stay even more comfortable (for some), is a slightly earlier breakfast time. You know, for those early risers! :)

I liked quite a few things so I will do my best to be concise and helpful! I will start by saying that I think that at the end of the day, how one is treated when lodging during travel, is almost as important as the accommodation itself. That said, the owner and staff at Hotellino Istanbul are exemplary individuals. They are professional, friendly, warm and caring beyond what is expected. They are attentive to the needs of guests and the staff did their best to ensure my safety and comfort. They were happy to answer questions about attractions, travel/transport, restaurants, make bookings and even cancel bookings :). Guest relations helped me navigate local details about the city, (where to get local goods for example), and even offered advice about making fair exchanges with locals so you don't fall victim to those infamous 'tourist traps'. They are also knowledgeable about the area which is helpful. Especially, when navigating a populated and popular city such as Istanbul. The team at this little gem seem to genuinely care about their guests and they demonstrate it! Breakfast is fresh and healthy, and the kitchen provides a variety of tasty items. Did I mention the cute and quaint space? :) The room was quiet, updated, clean and well kept. I had plenty of room for my things and myself! :) The bedding and bathroom were also clean. Bonus...! A fantastic location close to some of the most rich attractions in the city! I walked a lot which was a great way to take the city in and get my exercise! :) The best part is before you hit the streets, you get to talk to Guest Services and get some travel and local tips to enhance your stay while sipping on great coffee! Everything was good very accommodating people our aircon stopped working so they change our room immediately cleaning and location is superb, zainub was very nice and sweet at the reception, for the first time we get the best pillows ever since we r travelling
