The towels and bed sheets were not always 100% clean and we found hair on then after checking in. The walls are quite thin sobyiu could hear everything from the other rooms and from the outside.

The staff was super friendly both at the reception and the breakfast. It's located in a relatively quiet area but not far away from the main attractions of the old town. The breakfast was great and vegetarian friendly.

Everything was amazing! The staff is so friendly, rooms are clean. But the best thing there is breakfast. I was surprised how many different local food we had on our breakfast and how much tasty it was! I am sure i will be missing it at home

A small, one might say “cosmetic” wish... I would replace the light bulbs in the room with “warmer” ones 🙂, that is, with a lower light temperature. According to my feelings, the bulbs are installed with a temperature of 4000K (Cool White or even higher) but I like something like 3000K (Bright White) or less...

An excellent hotel (considering the location, price and quality for that money) in the very center of old Constantinople/Istanbul. Very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and other ancient iconic places. Just a huge mass of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and for any budget. The staff can recommend some “tested” places. The hotel staff is very responsive. We were on holiday with friends, their hotel was nearby. The hotel staff didn't mind when our friends came to visit us a couple of times for a couple of hours. My recommendation is to take the advice of the hotel representatives and book the airport transfer they provide. You will save a lot of nerves, as the hotel staff understands well how to deliver you to the airport on time, taking into account traffic jams and congestion in Istanbul at different times of the day.

The location was great and the hotel was very comfortable. We had a room on the ground floor and it was convenient going down to breakfast and also when leaving. Plus there was no noise disturbance except for the occasional cats fighting outside the window. Sinan and Abdul Rehman in reception were so great. They were so helpful and polite and accommodating. They really looked after us well. When I requested an extra bed for the room, they were able to help easily and their communication was great even before arriving. Great service from breakfast too- Sabrina was lovely. She gave us some food to take with us on our journey back home which was so wonderful.

A suggestion: some hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes/towels would be really useful (a mirror in the room would be nice as well).

I had previously read about problems with hot water but didn't pay attention to it. The water in the shower flowed either cold or hot and it was difficult to cope with it. Despite this minus, if you compare price and quality, it corresponds to its price

The staff is very friendly and ready to help in any situation. Breakfast is good. In addition, there were few people at breakfast time and I liked it 🙂.

The size of room wasn’t that much big as we saw in photos,it was about 15m Our mattress wasn’t comfortable,we booked a double room but there was 2 single mattress next to each other. The windows was a little dirty

Location was great,many abstractions nearby Views of our room was so good although there was many buildings in our views but we had panorama views in 3 sides and we had views of sea. Friendly staff

it was my first solo trip and I was a bit stressed that I would feel lonely or unsafe. But the moment I walked into Kumru hotel I was greeted and treated as a friend. The Hotel and rooms are great but it's the people working there that made it very special. I stayed there for a week and honestly think that I enjoyed my trip so much thanks to all the staff at Kumru Hotel, who helped me with all my needs and made me feel very safe in an unknown city. Special thanks to Sinan for a warm welcome, answering all my questions, and making sure I get back to the hotel safely. The Rooms: Rooms are modern and cleaned every day. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure is not the best but it does the job. There was also a minibar for late-night snacking. They also provided water bottles free of charge that they restock daily. Location: Great location, really close to the main tourist attractions and the tram, but still remote enough that you don't hear any noises from the street. There are also a few great restaurants around the corner. Breakfast: good selection of savory and sweet dishes: salads, cheese, eggs, bread, cereals etc. That allows you to switch up what you eat every morning. The food tastes homemade which I particularly enjoyed.
