From the very beginning the place made a very good impression. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming, very helpful and eager to give recommendations about points of interest, how to get there, etc. The hotel location is very convenient to walk to various places on both sides of the Golden Horn. The room was spacious and very comfortable, despite some drawbacks, such as lack of sunlight, because windows were towards very narrow street, but this did not spoil the overall experience.

The carpet in the living room was not very clean. Needed a good hover. The TV in the room did not work but it was ok as the one in the living one worked. We took the studio. It is a good size, but beware no outside view at all,.so need to have lights on all the time even during the day. Good running warm water, could sometimes smell something from sewage. The pillows were perfect, the mattress needed to be changed

The hotel location is just perfect, being a few meters off Istiklal street. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Mustapha, who managed to get us an early check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 8am after a 10h flight. He also gave us a wifi dongle free of charge so we could stay connected when we were visiting istanbul. He gave good advice on places to eat. Another special mention to the lady at reception, when we checked out. She helped with our suitcases, and even called our cab, who was lost on his way to the hotel.

I am a regular guest there for a reason. It is the perfect combination of luxury and modesty; welcoming and comfortable without being overwrought or stuffy. The rooms are generous and private, and quiet despite the boisterous neighbourhood. The position between three absolutely brilliant restaurants - one immediately downstairs - is an added bonus, and if you enjoy an hour’s walk (which I do), you can walk virtually anywhere in the city from this location. Really a gem of a place.

The location is superb. The staff is amazing, a very high level of customer service and attention, they helped us with local tips, restaurant bookings, transfer to/from the airport. The facilities are sparkling clean. Overall an amazing experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Price performance is very very good.

Be careful when booking as some rooms have no outside view or natural daylight because the window overlooks a service staircase. This only shows when you click on the i icon for more information about the room prior to booking. It simply says, "no view." I believe that these are the standard twin/double and studios. The superior/deluxe rooms and their larger rooms with balconies are obviously fine and show pictures of the windows. Don't let this put you off, this hotel is excellent and if you have found it and they have vacancies, Book It !!

Everything about this hotel is top class. From the reception staff to the well appointed and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended and we will be returning here for sure. Thanks to all of the staff for making our stay special.

I booked the room with two beds (for me and my friend), but our room was "upgraded" for a bigger one however there were a double bed and a sofa. Honestly, I was too tired to discuss it, so I took the sofa and it was a terrible decision in terms of sleep quality. It shouldn't be used at all as a place for sleep.

The location and staff were nice. :) The room (in general) was good. I also liked the minibar (incl. non-alcoholic beverages) and its prices. Nice place for 2-4 days staying.

in the morning housekeeping talked to his colleagues rather loud in coridor. And i prefer to sleep till 10 am diring vacation but in this case i didnt need my alarm😝.

My second time in this lovely hotel. And this time i came with my friend and she also was falling in love with this hotel and hotel team. U feel like u re at home, each manager is sincere and smiling and treat u like u re his family. I love it so much.

So, the comfort category did not get the highest mark because there is a lot of street noise at night. The property cannot do much about this unless they renovate with a noise isolation goal, which would be an unreasonable expectation. The noise is there because the location is arguably one of the top tourist destinations in the city.

The staff are absolutely the best; very attentive and polite. The location is a minute away from the metro station. I would recommend to friends and family.

Choosing a hotel in the Taksim/Istiklal area was a mistake for me. All the hustle and bustle of the area was unsettling. For other people, it probably would have been ideal.

Staff at the hotel work hard for their guests. We were given a free upgrade for the room. I liked their attitude toward providing an excellent service.

The hotel is located in an excellent location with tons of restaurants, bars and plenty of shopping with walking distance. All the staff which I met were very welcoming, helpful and professional. The room was very clean, cosy and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The shower large and the water pressure was strong. I have been to many hotels in this area (Taksim), as I pass through Istanbul a lot due my work, I’m based in Africa. And I finally found the hotel that I will come back to at a very reasonable price range of €80 per night! So look no further and book here…
