Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaGrass long. Yard untidy. Pool a green sludge pool. Not pleasing for visitors if property appears unkept. You expect what is on the photos.

United KingdomThe evening restaurant ambience/menu was lovely but wasn’t really suitable for children and there were no cheap and cheerful family friendly places locally.
Amazing vineyard location, not too far from Ephesus. Felt very exclusive and not like anything else I’ve experienced in Turkey. Hotel staff were very honest when we left some belongings in the room by accident.

FranceThe restaurant is very expensive and small portions for not amazing food. Not others options for dinner, but the pool food is great for lunch.
Beautiful hotel in the vineyards, the pool is amazing and the rooms and breakfast were nice, very convenient to visit Ephese and a little holiday retreat in the country side. And the staff was very lovely.

RussiaAn absolutely amazing place. It's cozy, quiet and comfortable. Neat garden around and lovely rooms with comfortable beds. We woke up in the morning to the chirping of birds. Many thanks to the staff. We arrived later than the scheduled time (late in the evening) and we were warmly welcomed, in the restaurant we were fed a delicious dinner. Separately, I would like to note that dinner was complemented by very tasty wine. I really want to come back here!

Russiathis is a Vineyard. vine glasses are available in rooms, but no vine selection is offered. I believe, it will be useful to leave a few bottles of vine ( with price tags) at the rooms, so late arriving costumers will have a pleasure to gave a glass of vine.
Little Italy in Turkey. very nicely maintained. the view is “eye candy”. very good restaurant- we were pleasantly surprised with food taste and service.

Hong Kongthe lovely setting also means it is outside the Selcuk town and you have to have a rental car to access. This also means if you drink you can’t drive, and I’m no sure how easily available taxis are

United States of AmericaThis place was wonderful! Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning views and a super nice pool, good wine, and a nice restaurant as well! It's a bit of a drive to get there from the airport, but 100% worth it. It also worked as a nice hub to tour Ephesus. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is so beautiful and cozy! We stayed only for one night, but it was worth it. The pool has a beautiful pool (although its very very cold). The rooms are very comfortable. We did the wine tasting and it was lovely: great opportunity to meet the different grapes and tastes of Turkish wine. The restaurant is also really good, totally worth it! Breakfast was also amazing!

United KingdomCleanliness and attention to detail...just not there.
We love the location so much we returned again for a night. Disappointing that little has changed from our previous review. With a little love this hotel could be beautiful. A stunning location, lovely pool area and nice size rooms. No WiFi and poor TV reception. Needs a good deep clean and a bit of a refresh. Upon arrival I cleaned the bathroom which was very dirty. Breakfast was ok..no warm options and waiter a bit grumpy..obviously not a morning person ! We didn't have dinner in as the menu really wasn't to our taste. We drove to sirince instead. Given its peaceful and stunning location we would return again but would hope someone will show it a little love soon. Stunning hotel but sadly lacks attention.

Hong KongOur only complaint was that our room was supposed to have an equipped kitchen but the electric hob was missing so cooking some pasta for our children as we’d planned was difficult. Also the water in the restaurant was very expensive by Turkish standards
A really beautiful location, quiet, peaceful and relaxing yet very close to Ephesus- and great food served in the restaurant. Really lovely pool with infinity edge looking over the vineyard
