There is nothing much to do around the area, and if you dont have a car, you will just have to dine in the resort. There are not a lot of options. Breakfast is almost the same each day. No basic toiletries. Will have to purchase if you did not bring any.

I had requested for a change of breakfast in our package to dinner as I had to check out very early at 6 am. However the staff volunteered and offered to pack breakfast for us for takeaway. But when we arrived, the restaurant informed us they were unable to do so due to the early timing. After some negotiation, it was agreed that breakfast would be packed for us- some Swiss rolls and Madeleines and packet orange juice. I felt that such service should not be 'asked for' especially when it was offered in the first place, but the service recovery efforts were there.

I was pleasantly surprised that the checkout receipt and documents were prepared for us in advance as we had tp check out and leave for the airport at 6am.

Low expectations due to the negative reviews but the resort was beautiful and the rooms clean. The large pillows were very soft. The animal smell was not present in the rooms and there were rhinos and zebras and ostriches close to our windows. Room tip “Congo Greenery” giraffe area. Come with kids, toothbrush, small baby basin, snacks and sandals, you will find nothing lacking. They cooked generous and tasty vegetarian dishes to supplement the salad bar and there were vending machines to cater for midnight munchies.

There’s no closet which is strange… and we booked one of the family room. The smell of the animal’s urine can be quite strong but understand that is natural for being close to the them. There were alot of mosquitoes.

The location is very convenient to the themepark and the safari zoo is really the highlight! The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are quite old, and the wall paint looks a bit faded. There is only one restaurant, and we didn’t book it in advance, so we had to wait for a 7.30pm seating which was quite late for us. So either bring your own food or book in advance. We didn’t like that the staff didn’t promote any of the activities at the resort. We didn’t even know there was an activity centre, and we only discovered it after dinner but it was already closed. The staff does not seem as friendly or helpful. Only one of them was trying his best to do everything, he doubled up as lobby checkin and moving of baggage. There also isn’t a lift from the 3rd floor (which is the main entrance) to the 5th floor (which is where the double storey rooms are located). Thus, luggages had to be moved separately by staff via a cargo lift. My elderly parents also had problems walking up and down the stairs. So do take note, and book a room on the 3rd floor if u do not want to take the stairs.

It was great to be able to see the animals up close, like the ostrich, rhinos and lemurs in the central arena. The room was a double storey one, and the beds were huge, and they even had 2 separate cubicles for toilets and showers. This makes it very easy to have 2 different people showering at the same time and helps to save a lot of time! The kids loved the room because it had 2 levels, and they also loved that they could view the animals up close.

Resort with lots of animals like zebras, rhinos and ostriches to see and even can be seen from the hotel rooms. Fun and filled with activities for kids. There is a theme park just few mins drive away and have fun rides to entertain kids the whole day.

Got an upgrade and the room is very big. Friendly staff. Complimentary shuttle to the theme park is by a tram in the design of a train.
