I wish I had more time to be in Alaska!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast! Carol was a wonderful host. She even went shopping to get a particular coffee creamer that the guests preferred! It was great talking with her about the local culture and all the interesting facts and trivia of Alaska.

Very good find this one. Lovely accommodation with separate lounge area. Long rear garden down to the lake and decking area. We saw a juvenile Bald Eagle here. Bonus. We are used to having an en suite and didn't know this had shared bathrooms. A lot of thought and care went into the breakfast preparation. All home cooked. Friendly welcoming owner.

I loved this location and the beautiful grounds. The staff were delightful and made the most delicious breakfast with lots of variety. I also loved looking around their very affordable yet elegant gift shop for homemade gifts to bring back for family from our trip.

Lots of stairs but well worth the effort. The outdoor stairs were a little slippery when wet.

Cozy and comfortable with a delicious breakfast served with the opportunity to visit with other guests. Carol was very friendly, helpful and has a wonderful gift of hospitality. The gift shop was a nice place to get locally created souvenirs. Great place to stay. Highly recommend a stay.

I didn't understand the queen bed situation. I was travelling with my daughter and there wasn't really room for us in the bed together - I thought there was another bed but I was mistaken. We checked in late so they could not accomodate a second bed. That was really my mistake, and otherwise the place was absolutely lovely: clean, well organized and beautiful -and on the lake. I'd come back for sure.

Excellent breakfast! Beautiful accommodations, nice people, lovely location. If you have two people who are unpartnered each person needs a separate bed.

Comfortable, homey, friendly, helpful hostesses. Beautiful setting with a delightfully delicious breakfast. A well supplied, available kitchen for us late arrivals and a gift shop full of locally made crafts to help out with souvenir shopping. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely B&B.

It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Lovely grounds on the lake. Unfortunately due to this being a stop over after we flew into Anchorage. On our way. We did not get to stay and enjoy breakfast. We were exhausted after flying and ended up sleeping and getting up early. It was very quiet and our room was private.

The only thing that could have been better was if we could have stayed an extra night.

The breakfast was awesome and very filling. The house itself was wonderful! Carol and her daughter were so nice to us. We loved the little gift shop too. If we would have known it was so nice we would have stayed 2 nights!

There was nothing we didn't like. The B&B has its own country style. Some will like all the decorative details; others may prefer a more contemporary style. But this property is exactly how it presents itself and is in the tradition of a country-style B&B. Customers looking for that will not be disappointed. It feels like you're staying with your relative.

The breakfast was fabulous. It was one of the things that drew me to the property after viewing the array of breakfast spreads on the website. Our breakfast experience lived up to our expectations. Liked, too, that breakfast is served at a single, long table. Family style.

Noise from combined road/railway/air traffic.

Very nice, complimentary breakfast served by the helpful personnel. The room was very clean and comfortable, all the object is decorated in a very cozy style. There is a very nice garden in front of the lodge leading to small pier on a lake shore where I was enjoying birdwatching. Free parking.

This B&B was absolutely beautiful. The rooms and especially the landscape was amazing. Very peaceful and easy check in. If you are in the Wasilla area, Lake Lucille is a diffinant stay. Exceptional price for all that you get. Would stay again.
