To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United Arab EmiratesIt's a big resort. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. It has a good equipped kitchen with a microwave and coffee machine. Lot of parking space available in the property. The location is good, and you can walk to the strip. We enjoyed our stay in the resort.

NetherlandsLack of isolation between the rooms and having the outside noise directly inside was down side of the visit. But I am aware that this is the result of American house construction approach. Being this facility to be 70 years as a building. This is completely understandable but partial renovations can be made to serve their customers better.
The room was decorated well and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was being near to Airport but his has nothing to do with the facility. Due to my travel reason, I have only used the hotel for sleeping and did not used any further facilities present like sport saloon or the pools.

United States of AmericaParking was super tight hard maneuver around cars. The bath was cracking /chipping. The window was screwed into place so you can’t open it and no fan to vent when you shower. The a/c units were on its last leg falling apart.
The room was very big a spacious! It was a fantastic room for the value! Parking was also free which was a plus!
