Tv didn’t work well, they changed it room. Tv was a bit better. Water only Luke warm in shower and Sink.

Staff was helpful, heat worked well, keeping room warm .

The cleanliness

The website said there was a breakfast included and when we got up the very rude attendant said there was no breakfast. The room was dusty and there were objects from other travelers behind the TV stand. The room is very outdated

Short beds, kind of dingy an outdated. I accidentally booked two rooms and they would give me nothing, no break in the cancellation of the second room. So my son and I had two rooms with four beds that are feet hung off of….

Booking.com listed this as a pay at the property location, but I was called a few hours before I arrived and was told they couldn’t charge my card and we’re going to cancel my booking. I had planned to pay in cash, but they required a card in advance of my arrival. The place is under construction and parking in front of the building is limited. It’s definitely old and outdated. The staff didn’t give me any information about the property (ie where to park, pool hours, check out time) when I checked in, I just had to figure it all out on my own.

It is old, it needs refurbishing, it looked abandoned, the fixtures (cupboard doors) needed fixing, there was no cutlery or crockery despite having cupboards for them. The safe didn’t work and if it did, the code was set so not secure and that defeats the object of having a safe. The grounds looked uncared for, Heras fencing surrounding a structure in the middle of the car park, the pool was closed. If you need to stay in Bourne there is little choice but you wouldn’t want to spend more than a night in this soulless place.

It was easy to locate, on arrival we were given a goodie bag with cereal bars, water, juice and muffins which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms had plenty of space and it was useful to have a fridge and microwave.

our original room was very smelly. Musty or moldy. I immediately requested a new room and had to pay an upgrade fee. The upgraded room was nicer that the first room however they really need to put in some improvements. Carpet was way too old and so were the room decorations. Couch had to have been there for way too many years. and there were not lighting fixtures in the kitchen area so a lamp from the other area was used on the counter top. Strange set up to have microwave in the bedroom area when there is a kitchen area.

the pool was very nice but it did need to be updated a little bit. there was a lot of peeling paint.

Shower curtain ripped, not very clean bathroom, no coffee, had to ask for regular coffee there was only decaf. TV worked 1st nite then not again. Was very disappointed.

The fridge in the room barely worked. They didn’t provide enough towels for 4 people so we did have to ask for more but they were more than happy to provide them and extra blankets.

It was a convenient location as it was close to a baby shower that I was attending. Being on the east side of the Bourne Bridge was a big plus.

I did not feel comfortable with the clientele. Some people had left clothing hanging outside their rooms (including personal items) and were “hanging out” with doors open flopped on their beds. The property was pretty run down even though it was reasonably clean. Floors squeaked and flexed under an old rug. I didn’t want to take off my shoes and walk through the room and I was glad I didn’t need a shower that night.

The grounds were under construction which made it a little difficult to navigate. The bedroom area was tight and the beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was basic but beat up/had holes in the wall. There were also no dishes to use in the kitchenette.

The staff/owners were lovely and very hospitable. They even offered a nice welcome bag of goodies. Check-in and check out were a breeze. The location was also convenient/close to highways.

I suppose it met expectations as long as we weren’t expecting much. The hotel was not the focus of our trip. We visited the places we had planned to visit.

Breakfast was paper bag. We went to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. This place needs help. I’m happy that we weren’t focused on the hotel for anything other than a bed and shower.
