Martin Johnson the night time house maid was so accommodating and friendly I admire an establishment that will employ and elderly man on oxygen and give him a.purpose in life to keep him busy. I admire the hotel for caring for dogs and trying to adopt them out We will definitely be back

Construction going on. Getting in and out of the parking deck, and I wasn’t told I had to pay for parking until I got there.

Could have been more easily visible information for the locaion of the check- in desk. we hadd to search for it on the second floor.

Great location - downtown near restaurants and brew pubs. Parking attached was wonderfully convenient. The common spaces were well placed - We especially enjoyed the 2nd floor outdoor terrace.

Well, the coffe/tea maker wasn’t working. Our “neighbors” got a tad too loud for us, but a call to management solved that!

The overall “atmosphere” was a good match for us. Liked the open lobby with bar, pool table, games for kids & foster doggies, meeting doggies in the halls. It was a very positive experience.

It was a bit noisy at night. It was St Paddy's weekend. The drunken couple next door sounded like they were in our room and the streets were noisy.

Light in the bathroom is hooked up to the fan. Not ideal when you need to get up during the night and others are sleeping. A nightlight would be a nice addition.

Construction occurring - which we were informed of prior to arriving. Noise not so bad but our window was facing the pool where all of the construction was happening, so not the best view to watch cranes, bobcats, jackhammering. Bring snacks! We were hungry after the show and it was too cold to walk around, and spent $40 on the snacks in the lobby :)

Value for the location is the BEST in downtown Asheville. My husband and I (locals) have done a staycation every winter holiday for the past ten years - Aloft was the first place we stayed, and although we have tried different downtown hotels through the years, we keep coming back to Aloft because the value + location can not be beat.

Loved the dog friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The DJ on Saturday evening was a cool surprise as we enjoyed a game of cards in the lobby. In addition, it is nestled in the heart of downtown making it extremely convient to the restaurants and shops. The staff was wonderful. The smoothest, easiest check in experience.

There was a very large dog in the room next door that barked all night and the following morning. We finally informed the staff and they took care of it for us. Thank you!

I could have used more pillows and maybe a microwave, but otherwise no problems.

The property was very dog friendly, especially in the common areas. the staff was friendly and the food in the market area was good and had a good variety. The location was great for walking around town.

Locked ourselves out of the room when the locking bar on the sliding glass door to balcony fell down and locked us out but staff came quickly and back in...we had a good laugh.

Loved access to the balcony. Pool tables and hotel bar were a bonus. Being in downtown with access to restaurants and bars was perfect. Will definitely be back!
