Very close to the very busy road, so traffic noise until pretty late & started again pretty early in the morning.

Room was a fairly good size. About 15 minutes drive to Muir Woods.

Muir Woods Lodge is an excellent starting point to explore Muir Woods. The room was spacious and very clean. This stay is a very good value for money option. Would always come back here. Staff was very friendly and attentative. Forgotten items in the room were kept and stored until we came back to pick them up.

The balcony needs to be adjusted to drain the rain properly.

The rooms are very nice - they clearly have invested in upgrading them and they were good sized, clean with new fixtures and flooring. The beds were comfortable and even though it is next to the freeway, the room heater fan humm and the good windows kept the noise away and we slept well.

The beds were uncomfortable and the floors in our room needed to be mopped (no carpet in room). The towels were small and rough.

The location to Muir Woods was 15 min drive. This is a budget hotel and I knew that when I booked. This was just a place to sleep and we wanted to be close to Muir Woods for morning hike.

It was closer to a motel feel and there were some old furnishings and a hole in the wall.

The location is close to Muir Woods and Mt. Tamalpais given the price.

They didn't have breakfast like advertised. Just a hot chocolate/coffee machine. Also, the location was difficult to leave unless you have a car. There's not a very good place to cross to the street. But overall they gave very good value for the price.

The room was very clean. Good value. A staff member (Nikki?) was very helpful and kind to us. He gave us a handicap-accessible room upon seeing my partner was in a wheelchair.

Bathroom toilet & shower/tub is in a 6x5 small room . Too cozy . But the two of us is under 180 lbs . So ok ?

We stayed 3 days and the maid didn't restock the coffee or towels. Most people will only stay one night here so no big deal. But if staying more than one night ask you may have to ask to be resupplied.

Great value for location and price. Very clean. Ask for room in back away from road noise.

I didn't like the fact that I was on the side with the highway, and it was pretty loud, but I turned the fan on, and it canceled it out.

I don't have any complaints about the room or the property. Next time, I'll ask for a room on the other side of the building.

The room was a little bit small. The AC could have been quieter and more clean. Thermal insulation and soundproofing could have been better.

The room was clean. The bedding was of the right quality, as were the products in the bathroom (soap, shampoo). The receptionist put us in a room facing the back, which was quite quiet. The hotel goes to great lengths to make its surroundings welcoming, with real flowers all around and freshly redo bedroom.

The 'desk and chair' were not well matched -- the desk/table was counter height and the chair was desk height. It was uncomfortable to eat at and impossible to use for my computer, forcing me to use my computer in bed, an uncomfortable proposition. The bathroom was also tiny. The highway facing room was surprisingly noisy even with the door and shutters closed.

The room was well-appointed, the bed was comfortable, I liked having the fridge and microwave. I like the hardwood-like flooring. OVerall the room was more attractive and modern than expected. I appreciated getting a 1st floor room as requested due to short term problems with lifting my luggage.

The floor was very dirty had black feet. Needs a good clean. Towels were replaced but used ones left behind.
