You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I didn't like the condition of the window shade and the humidifier...the mattress was too hard... There could have been some protein for breakfast, who eats that much carbs anymore. The staff looked unhappy, they didn't smile at all.
I loved the location...I liked the set up of the shampoo, body wash and hand wash but the body lotion was missing...I liked the size of the room and just the right amount of furniture. I liked that it was tile floor and not carpet.

The pooled looked terrible The breakfast was awful and not yea bags! The extra $100 charge on credit card was stressful There wasn’t a person to check you in in the reception. Had to talk to a machine!

Outdated, no human at check in or at the front desk, but it was cheap so it didn’t matter. The $100 deposit is kinda slipped in but got it back in 2 days so not a big deal.
Cheap. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and our room was quiet. It was a typical motel. If you want a resort don’t stay here, if you want a clean, quiet room in Ft Meyers for a couple without breaking the bank this is a good spot.

Check-in by machine was different and slow. We like a human touch. The mattress is old, lumpy and soft.
Clean & convenient Breakfast is all carbs and boring. (Perhaps the workmen had eaten all the good stuff before we arrived for breakfast)

If you’re expecting a physical person at the front desk, you will be disappointed… There is a video screen to a remote front desk person, it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again, but it’s something I’ve never seen
It is a Motel 6 like property that they have done some refreshing to the rooms, so it didn’t feel so dated

Some rooms had roaches and once there was no hot water which made my guest uncomfortable.
As usual, the staff is one of the main reasons why I continue to visit Americans Best!! They are like family and always make me feel at home. I've had minor issues with some of my rooms but for the most part I have no complaints!!

Although the check-in/out function was fairly efficient, I wasn't thrilled by not having a human immediately available 24/7 to handle any potential problems. After checking in and then returning late that evening, our key cards wouldn't unlock our door. Lock was actually broken and had to be manually unlocked after 45 minutes of trying. Moved to room next door which ended up acceptable. Although, the next morning found dehumidifier overflowed in vanity area. Cleaned up and emptied tank myself. The "hot" breakfast had no protein available at any time, fruit was old or not existent. Only "hot" item was self-served waffles.
Location met our needs for this trip. Staff with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.

Furniture was very worn out. Chaise lounge was all cracked. No need for it in room Chair was coming apart as well A lot of construction workers staying there. Loud trucks early in the morning

IT is a typical 80/90's motel. The air conditioner is extremely noisy. We didn't actually meet any staff as we were checked in remotely by a robot or a guy on a screen. But check in was quick and I guess this is the way of the future.
Quite good location. Good value for money. Excellent Thai restaurant around the corner. Rooms clean. Had a swimming pool.
