Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pass key had to be reset more than once during stay. Not a big issue but if a room is reserved the pass key should be set to the day of checkout.

See above about the drippy faucet.
This is my second time staying here. The staff is very nice. I requested a room on the first floor because I’m small and I had a heavy suitcase. They didn’t have one for me but offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff seemed very friendly. At one point I came back and the owners were planting flowers or something on the grounds. They take good care of the property. My room was comfortable. The one thing was that my bathroom faucet kept tripping. I had to move the handle very carefully to get it to stop every time I used it. I just wanted to place to stay so I could visit the parks and stuff for a little getaway. It’s not luxurious, but it’s what you would expect from a motel, and the price is right!

For what we paid, it was fine.
The room and bathroom are spacious. The property is old and it shows, however the value is there. So many accommodations these days charge as much as a mortgage payment for 1 night!

Shower was funky. Not great pressure. The warmer the water, the lower the pressure. Ran great from cold water

The room had a very strong musty chemical smell, once we opened the windows and aired it out it was better. The room was very basic nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable and so were the pillows and it was clean. I thought it was a bit pricey for what they had to offer but it served its purpose for a get away weekend.

You only get a thin white curtain, so if your lights are on... The bathroom fan has no cover and moans. We were told breakfast was a "2 minute walk." Turned out to be a 5 minute DRIVE. Why are these little hotels so expensive? Family owned operation. The website looks much better than the actual place. Expensive stay, small tv.
The beds were firm, seem to be new. We got in late, it was quiet.

Everything was a bit damp and smelled musty. One of the beds was very uncomfortable.
The location was good and central to where I needed to be. Checkin was easy. The shower pressure was great!

Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided but not greatest quality. Not really an issue if you bring your own. Area in general tends to have expensive rates in summer.
Location was great, close to Old Orchard Beach and to Portland. Right off Route 1 but in a quiet neighborhood around houses. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff we interacted with were pleasant and polite. Breakfast was simple, few cereals and fruit available.

The hotel itself is very dated but it was clean and sufficient for our needs.
Clean and relatively quiet. Close to everything we wanted to do during our stay. This was a last minute reservation due to flooding at our original Vermont destination. No frills hotel but it met our needs.

More of a selection for the breakfast and shampoos and soap were skimpy.
Breakfast wasn’t much, coffee was good. Real cream instead of the powdered stuff. I was allowed to have my dog even tho they don’t allow pets, that was awesome!

I did not have the breakfast. This was a place to lay our heads for the night and it did just that. Pretty close to to a Main highway so there was traffic noise but if was fine.

The carpet desperately needs to be replaced! Terribly worn out and smells bad.

For the price no snacks for breakfast just coffee. Tried to call the place before we came and was told to leave a message but mailbox was full. Poor Management!!!!!!!!!!!
