Had to change where the lights by the bed plugged in, upper deadbolt on the door did not sit in the opening on the door frame, no drop box for key cards when the front office was closed (checked out at 6:30am, no one staffed at the desk until 7am).

Only one night table. Nigh table lamp did not work. Room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke to it. Pillows were too small and not comfortable. Shower water pressure was not strong enough. Needs to have more water pressure,

Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, decent Continental breakfast, relatively quiet enviroment. Nice tv, & fridge. Decent bed, comfortable.

They said breakfast was included but it wasn't. It was a continental breakfast...they didn't have ½&½ for the coffee..just the fake cream...so I didn't have coffee..if they had a waffle maker it would have been better..they just had breakfast sandwiches...

The  the property inside and out is in need of renovations. The decor is very outdated, including the carpets in the hallways and lamps, curtains and paintings in the room. The elevator makes a clanging noise even though they said it had just been inspected and safe. It also needs to be repainted. There are scuffs on the walls everywhere. The parking lot needs repaying and it needs nicer landscaping.

The property was a good location, the staff are friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They also allow dogs and offer a decent breakfast.

Hotel is next to the highway and even though the rooms are pretty sound proof - the trucks are audible. The toilet was leaking and wasting a lot of clean water. Beware that dogs are allowed in this hotel.

This is one of the cheapest hotels in town. We had a fairly clean room. Breakfast is included - not a super selection but it will help to start the day.

The location of the hotel was somewhat a good news, bad news type thing. The good news is that it was directly off the highway, easy to find and had a very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were pretty comfy. The bad news is that it is about a 25 minute walk from the downtown Portsmouth area.

The room could have been cleaner (there were brown stains on the pillow cases) and some of the other amenities were unavailable due to construction, but it was fine.

The location is perfect--under 1.5 miles to town (perfect walking distance). We didn't get breakfast (grab and go with limited options and almost nothing gluten free). The pool was closed.

Drug addicts (at least 2-4; and we knew they were drug addicts by the track marks on their arms and legs) were outside near the side and back entrances and in the parking areas hanging around. We were not sure if they were living in the parking area near the construction section or what, but they were there in the evening and in the morning (when we arrived around 3 PM, they were not around). They didn't bother any of us but made everyone feel a bit uneasy. The parking area seemed sketchy too. My husband didn't feel comfortable with me going back to the car alone to get anything I may have forgotten to bring in; he went back and forth instead. Another thing that was questionable in the parking area, was whether or not we might have gotten a flat tire from a nail or screw or other debris from the construction going on (we didn't, but the thought was there the second we pulled around to the back of the hotel). Elevator had seen better days and sounded like it might stop between floors permanently every time we go into it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful (we worked with Tom). The room size and cleanliness were surprising considering the age of the hotel and the fact that it was under construction. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, as well. AC worked great! The location was ideal for easy access for Ubering into downtown Portsmouth.

Unfortunately there were some malfunctioning lights. The front doors were lock at night so you couldn’t use it until 7:00 A.M.. the side door going into the rooms from the parking lot was left unlocked, so was a safety issue. Shouldn’t there be a card to get in that way.

Beds and showers were good, . So was the microwave. The staff were pleasant.. they did try to accommodate due to the circumstances. Breakfast was fine due to the circumstances.I liked the fact that the hotel was close to downtown, an right near the 95.
