Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI just wanted to stay longer. LOL There was a full moon over the new pool. Doesn't get better than that! This is my second time to make the Oak Room, my room. And I am coming back next month for a third time!
Breakfast was more than sufficient. Atmosphere cannot be beat. Kate is the best! Above and beyond sufficient service. A hearty.... heart-full, restorative place.

United States of AmericaN/a, everything was awesome.
The home is gorgeous! There is art and color in every corner, the furniture and details are a beautiful blend of old and new. The Courtyard Suite was the perfect size for our honeymoon getaway, it was tucked away and private and was well-appointed. The breakfast was phenomenal, and definitely the main reason we decided to stay here. Kate, the innkeeper, was incredibly welcoming and hospitable and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the city. All-around fantastic experience!

Auld sweet olive Just, stay here. Just do it. Don’t even look at another place to stay, this is your home away from home in NOLA!!! This property is stunning and inviting. Kate, the in keeper is a QUEEN and the ultimate B&B Mama. You will feel at home from moment one here. I’m a NOLA native but live out of state now, and I will be staying here EVERY TRIP HOME from now on. There’s a heated pool and a hot tub. There’s fresh, homemade hot breakfast every morning. There’s a beautiful living room where you can curl up with a book or play any one of the many games they have available. Or you can just drink. ;) The location is perfect. You can get anywhere you need to by a quick uber. Lots of great local bars and cafes and places to eat/drink that are walking distance (hello, Marie’s!) The Marigny is such a special place and you won’t regret staying here. We literally cried when we left. You will leave a piece of your heart at Auld Sweet Olive. We are coming back, Kate!!

United States of AmericaBeautiful inside and out. Comfortable and welcoming. I was greeted with a smile and made to feel right at home. The patio is lovely, the breakfast delicious, and my room was so very clean and comfortable and lovely to look at. I actually didn't want to leave. I would have extended my stay if I could have. I plan on returning there for my next visit to New Orleans. The Hospitality was amazing.

United States of AmericaThis area probably wouldn't be good for people who are in need of assistance walking. The sidewalks are generally very bumpy, making it easy to trip. Tree roots and high water tables make them generally in poor repair. Parking in the city can be a challenge too.
Breakfast was amazing; Kate, the host, is a wonderful cook. The building is within easy walking distance from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. It is safe to walk round this area and we felt very comfortable here. Loved the pool and the fire pit too.

Great Airbnb in the French quarter of new Orleans. Fat away from the hectic buzz to relax but closer enough to walk everywhere. Beautiful house and decoration. Fantastic breakfast and sorry nice hosts. Recommend highly.

United States of AmericaOnly minor complaint is the shower for the tub is mounted at waist level. It's awkward to use and ends up getting the whole bathroom wet.
Great location, quiet neighborhood but easy walk to many of NOLA's attractions. Included breakfast was freshly made and incredible each day. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return.

United States of AmericaNothing. We loved everything and it’s our new favorite place to stay in NOLA. ❤️
Lovely and charming! We traveled with another couple (family from France) and it was so tranquil. Comfortable rooms and we enjoyed breakfast as well as relaxing in the pool at night. Beautiful attention to details…music playing, robes by the pool, little amenities. Kate and team…amazing!

United Kingdomwhat a brilliant place! From the moment we arrived it was like being welcomed into a friend’s really cool house; beautiful arty decor, all super clean and comfortable with great breakfast, and lovely communal spaces. And all in such a cool, walkable neighbourhood, and Kate was the dream host, with spot-on tips for local places to check out. Couldn’t have asked for a better first taste of New Orleans, really hope to return someday!

United States of AmericaKate, the innkeeper, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. When all the street parking spaces around her B&B were suddenly taken, we had to park farther away. A little later, the spot directly in front of her place became available. She alerted us, then stood in that space to block others from trying to take the space. There was a nearby festival going on, so she really did have to physically hold the spot. She went above and beyond!

From the moment you arrive, this place feels like home. Both the guest rooms and the communal space are beautiful and cozy. Kate is the loveliest host, she's truly gone above and beyond to make the place special!
