Not having daily housekeeping for price we paid. Not being able to keep patio door open because of no screen.

First time staying at Beach Haus Bal Harbour and was a lovely four day experience for my husband and I. We enjoyed our room even though the view was of the entrance/parking lot. The room was spacious & located on the main floor. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean when we arrived. Sliding doors don't have a screen so we would never open it because of little lizards and mosquitos. Having washer/dryer in room was great for drying our towels so we didn't have to have them replaced every day. Loved being able to make breakfast in morning and the coffee maker in room was great asset as well. No daily housekeeping, only at extra cost per day. The staff person at front desk (didn't get her name unfortunately) was very helpful & courteous. We absolutely loved the beach and access to beach chairs & umbrella. Staff on beach were always ready to assist with pleasure as well. Thank you for a pleasant first-time experience, we will definitely be returning to Bal Harbour. 😊

Had some issues with cleanliness of the rooms that were never resolved. They didn't want to re-clean the floors or balcony for us since we didn't pay for housekeeping. Pool was not heated so it was cold, even though it was a tiny thing. Our kids would have loved to play in it if it was warmer. And for Spring Break this is a big deal.

Location is great if you are wanting to spend time at the beach. Nice area for taking walks as well. About a 12 minute walk to Bal Harbour shops. Rooms are very modern and appealing. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are spacious. TVs in every room as well. They provided extra towels when we requested.

Pool was not clean and very small so not for use for adults and not heated, not enough supplies in room for family of 4 considering the price.

There is a pungent scent they use to clean/perfume it that is pretty invasive. It smells like rotten grapes/berries. We got Febreze to minimize it in our room and it was fine, but I would recommend changing scents as it was pretty unpleasant.

The shower had no división besides the curtains and it would get wet outside, the shower bed was broken, the ac unit is old so it makes a lot of noise and you cannot regulate the temperature.

We were surprised to have to pay for parking...we did not understand that prior to arrival and felt it was an added expense that was not necessary. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to drive about a mile or so. The hallway could be noisy...we were located on the first floor near the entrance.

The room was spacious, clean..but we looked out over a spot of dirt and up to a highway and a high-rise apartment building and if I recall properly, it was described as city view. We had a studio.. the kitchen was large and was beyond our expectations..bathroom was very small and in ok condition ( towels and washcloths were luxurious).. bedroom was very large with a desk...wifi was slow. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were not. The room was immaculate. There is a lovely well maintained pool area, chairs overlooking the inlet and a very nice walkway to the beach, which was not more than 5 minutes... available for us was 2 chairs and umbrella...we did not use, but it was nice to know that we could. We would stay there again.

There’s nothing we can complain about except that front entrance was accessible to all which made us feel a bit unsafe in the beginning since our room was close to front entrance. Other family members and friends were in the next building which required a passcode and more secure. Just wished we were in same building.

The beach was close by, neighborhood was very safe and quiet. Other hotel guests were quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We used the bikes at the hotel to ride on the board walk. The bikes were absolutely terrible, poorly maintained, too heavy, would have been much better to rent the public city bikes. the resort should invest in better quality to match the quality of the hotel.

We were able to hear everything that was happening in the hallway and in the room next to us and above us. Not sure if it’s because we were on the first floor but it was a little noisy.

Be aware that the reception is only available at certain hours and it is practically impossible to reach anybody off hours (you are being directed to messenger service that are absolutely unrelated to hotel management). Housekeeping service is very inaccurate - they forget to put towels and through the trash away (onlce they left the trash bag next to the door)
