Close to the water, good restaurant meal options, and near one of the state parks for hiking

There was a lot of bugs and flies in our room. They were in the sink, bathroom and several flies and gnats flying around.

Surprisingly, the room was larger than we expected. Very comfortable beds and a sofa. The big bathroom was newly remodeled and just sparkling! Very quiet place close to a park. A very good food at the restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere.

I would have liked more housekeeping days, even if extra cost.

It was a very down to earth hotel. we loved it!! and a casual restaurant on site. The hotel provided toys for lawn games. They even had fish boils when we were there. It’s located right next to the state park. We liked that we were not further north where it was crowded.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were no breakfast options really close.

Beautiful location! Loved the beach vibes!! Restaurant/bar next door was great!! We had a walkout room with sliders and was great to sit, sip and talk!! Very peaceful! Great price. Very clean and comfortable!!

Room and Hallway smelled pretty musty. The bottom of the shower curtains were pretty moldy.

Food was really good and not overly priced. Location of the resort is awesome, couldnt have asked for a more relaxing location.

Although the motel room was a great size and looked like updates were done, it smelled. There was no way to switch rooms and the dehumidifier helped a little. We didn't spend too much time in the room anyway.

The motel was in a great location; however, it wasn't necessary to venture far away from the motel because the site offered so many ways to enjoy your day. Great fish boil, beach, grass area to play with the dog, volleyball, and water rentals. Staff was very friendly.

There were a couple of maintenance issues that could be addressed like a missing screen and the bathroom door didn’t quite close.

The location was amazing! Using the kayaks and paddle boards was really fun. Our room was a good size

The property is so dog friendly and the staff is amazing! Everyone was so nice! Loved the waterfront and loved having the restaurant and bar right there! Gorgeous lakefront!

Cost cutting on bedding and towels to where you have to ask is not good customer service for the amount you charge.

I would describe the rooms as "rustic". Almost vintage! The place was very clean. Our first impression was "sketchy", but we ended up really liking our stay.

The beach area was beautiful -- lots of activities for any family. The bar was really nice. Food was very good & drinks were done well. Beds comfortable. Staff was great, especially Ada, a waitress.

King bad sagged in the middle little uncomfortable. We actually returned 2 weeks later and got 2 beds instead of king and those beds was very comfortable. This is nothing the motel could control but people who bring dogs should not leave them for hours at a time. 2 dogs barked inside a room when anyone walked through the patio area. After listening to the dogs for a couple hours my husband put a chair in front of the patio window to block their view and it was peaceful after that. 😀

The location was great end of a dead end road on the bay. Restaurant and bar walking distance. We liked it so much we actually returned 2 weeks later.

Mosquitoes swarming near doorways that we had run through to get into building. A few got into our room. I got bit.

The bed was too tall for me to get into but the staff found something for me to use as a step stool.

The food (Friday night fish fry) ordered from the bar at the resort was not good. Was charged double the price listed in the room binder/info, didn’t seem freshly made, no sides/condiments (tarter sauce/coleslaw/bread…). While the resort is in a quiet location it does take time to get to the more touristy areas of Door County (which I also feel can be a positive). Considering the food experience, plan meals/snacks accordingly.

Privately owned, nice size rooms, clean, bathroom remodeled, dog-friendly, friendly/welcoming staff, beach, water activities, resort fire pit, quiet location. With so many available outdoor amenities, I’d like to visit again in the warmer months.

Must have been a smoking room...smell knocked me over when we walked in. Opened both windows, put fan on high. Really could use update on room. Very old carpet and couch furnishings. Needed More blankets since temperature dropped.

Large available room. Newer bathroom. Friendly service. We got a new TV becouse ours didn't work. Love the waterfront! Cute baby mink living in rocks by pier.

the on site restaurant has great food ; however when you walk in the staff plays “not it “ to greet you .. even for picking up a order .

The only thing I didn't like was the dog barking during the night, and there is no one to call and report it. Should be more strict on the pet owners to watch their pet.

The bar food is amazing! Could not get enough of the chowder. The room was clean, spacious, and the ice machine was right there..lol.
