There was a lot of cigarette smoking on the property, luckily the room didn't smell but we still ended up needing to wash our clothes afterwards. The internet was down for 2 out of the 3 days, and even on the 3rd day when it came back, it was slower than my phone internet. In this day we really need good internet/WIFI as a default. The place is a bit run-down, lots of DIY-level fixes in each room we saw. However I felt like that was reflected in the price and so wasn't too bothered by it.

Staff was great and responsive and friendly, room was warm with lots of heating and a fireplace. The Hot tub was hot and in our room, what more could you want really? ;)

Had a hot tub they we had to restart, and the was little ventilation so it was damp in the room.

The room design was neat, and quirky. Staff was really nice and let us check out late. Room was huge for the money.

The Inn is rather run down, reflecting its age. In a way it adds to its charm. A bit of sprucing up would be welcome. Internet was occasionally spotty but overall it did the trick. Coffee, fridge and microwave are all in good clean condition. Beds are cozy. Soft cozy comforters would be nice. The interiors are old but seemed clean. Quirky place with great view of the lake. Not much I didn’t like. Would be nice to see ramps to the doors of a couple of rooms for wheelchair users. Overall, great place to relax.

I love Bennet Bay. It’s an old woodsy kind of hideout. It’s always quiet and cozy. The staff are always so sweet and helpful. The jacuzzis in the rooms are a real draw for me. You feel out of town but very close to all sevices, restaurants, etc.

The facilities are in great need of updates and re-modeling (it was an old run-down motel before the current owners bought it). We had a chance to speak with the managers/owners and they do have a plan to address this and are working toward updates and a remodel but said it will take time. However, until done, if you don't mind a little old fashioned and dated look and feel don't let it scare you away. It has everything you need for a stay. As they say don't judge a book by its cover.

The staff was very friendly and were solid good down to earth people. The price is was good. The location was beautiful and right next to a trail for walks by the lake and an easy drive into town. The full size mini-fridge (as opposed to hotel sized small fridge) was great to have.

The mattress was rather uncomfortable. Room was a bit warm but manageable with some planning (we figured it out for the second night). Would have been nice to have a table and perhaps another chair in the room.

We love that the inn is quirky and fun. The staff is so nice. The view is amazing. The hot tub is a nice bonus. We love that it's not too far from downtown and shopping but away from traffic and noise.

The bed wasn't comfy for me and I ended up sleeping on the couch, which was extremely comfy. The WiFi would not allow us to watch movies on the last day of our stay. The signal strength said it was weak.

Hot tub was clean and was the best part of the room! The customer service was amazing! This hotel will not be everyone's cup of tea. It is on the rustic side. The view was breathtaking! The couch was super comfy and the working fireplace was a great bonus!

a little outdated on exterior and interior but for the price it was perfect! it was clean and comfortable. nothing fancy but again the lake views, shower and comfortable bed was all I needed. the pool cover was not removed but they may have a reason and decided not to ask or swim.

the view of Coeur D’ Alene Lake is why I booked the property as well as being pet friendly. I was in Room 7 on the end with a back deck view. The sunset was gorgeous.

There was mold on the shower curtains, a big beetle almost landed on my husband in the bathroom, the rooms are a bit outdated, the smell of the room was a bit musty, beds were uncomfortable.

The view from the room was really nice. The size of the room was unexpected but pleasant. I feel like I got my moneys worth for the price I paid.

It was hot! We didn't ask, so maybe some were available, but if we had a fan in the room, I think it would have helped a lot. Maybe installing a ceiling fan in the rooms would help.

The location, price, and staff were amazing! We loved the charm of our room. We had a room with a view that was awesome! We peeked into a couple of empty rooms, and I loved the different themes in each room. The pool was awesome!

The Inn is very old and the out side is beginning to rot and get run down. One night stay was fine. I would only vacation there if I was going else where for activities. It’s a bit of an eye sore.

This little Inn is obviously old. But the room was clean and had the things we needed for a night. The view was amazing!! The staff was super friendly. We got in late and they were so nice about it!!

Dilapidated musty room with worn red carpeting. A/C had flashing message to change filter. Thin, worn bath towels, cannot run microwave and small coffee pot at same time - power strip will turn off devices.

The room and bathroom weren't level so you'd slide around in the shower. The bed was just a piece of soft foam that you'd sink into which was uncomfortable. Not sure if this was unique to this room.

Our toilet had a crack in it when we got there so we kept getting pinched and it took some work to get it to flush. The place definitely needs a quite a bit of work but I think it is in good hands.
