Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Really nothing, but it was a one-night stay.
It was very clean, and I liked the eclectic elements (old-fashioned quilts, retro microwave)! The large size “mini fridge” would have been great for a longer stay. And whoever was playing guitar next door—wonderful!

Stairs feel unsafe for use and room door was stuck so hard I had to put my full weight in to it to get it to open.
Room was clean and checking was easy.

A bit tatty. Just a bit too far gone with the sagging building.
The location was good. Walking distance to necessities. Map provided. Lovely staff but not much English spoken.

The hotel is dated, bathtub is olive green from the 80's, decor is also dated.

Price for place was high for what you got. Place was very old , no breakfast offered. Window AC not even in same room as the bed but wasn’t really needed for this trip.
Place was old old but clean and comfortable .. Staff was nice.

The pillows were rock hard and the beds were a bit lumpy. The toilet was meant for tiny people, because it was so short. Glad there was a hand rail to help oldies get up.
The location was excellent in the heart of Bennington. There was a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the evening. The room and grounds were very clean. The price was reasonable. It had its ups and downs, but we would probably stay there if in Bennington again.

The lights from outside shined in the room all night and I couldn't get the room dark with the style of blinds in the window. And for a long time into the wee hours their was traffic noise - it did have the windows open as I wanted fresh air.
The people who own it were very friendly, the place was very clean, the bed was comfortable.

it was very hot the day we arrived. The air conditioning unit for the room was very loud, and we had to leave it on all night to be comfortable. But the noise was unbearable, as well as the noise from the bathroom fan. Also, we were promised a king size bed, and we got two very hard double beds instead.
it was conveniently located for our purposes

It's a little overpriced. I realize that we went during the peak fall foliage, but if I didn't have over $200 in credit through booking.com I would never have stayed there for $286 per night. The room was small, and the beds were small. It's kind of old and the decor was old-fashioned.
The location was great. The staff was very friendly.

Bathroom oddly set up. A/C controls difficult to sue possibly worn. TV controls difficult to use and probably worn. Hard to get TV to turn on and off. The shower in my firend's rooom didn't balance properly.
Clean room. Great location. Staff was good. I was traveling with friends who had a separate room, when they found we were travelling together they moved us to have adjoining rooms.

A bit dated and in need of a refresh. Door locks especially poor, fridge ancient.

clean but very small room and bath. Rooms were all non smoking but chairs and ash trays were situated just outside the room so smoke came right into my room. There should be a designated smoking area away from the rooms!

The price was inflated for college graduation weekend. Continental breakfast has been deleted from the included services. Half of the power outlets in the room turn off with the lights. Due to its awkward location, the air conditioning did not evenly cool the room.
The room was clean and in good condition. The decor is warmer than a generic hotel; my partner called it "grandmotherly," so take that as you will.

TV reception was bad. Some of the other guests looked a bit sketchy. Decent value, but a little high IMO.
Clean, staff friendly. Room and bathroom good. Very nice for an older motel.
